I'm trying to set my study schedule for the Nov 14 test and it's stating that it will take me 1.3 years to complete the course. I've tried to change the weekly hours, but I'm still getting crazy study schedules. Suggestions?

Hi there,
The Study Schedule is based on the dates you would like your LSAT studies to start at and how many hours per week you would like to work. Therefore, if you would like your Study Schedule to start on July 31, 2020, and you would like to study for 20 hours per week, the Study Schedule will generate the amount of time it will take you to work through the Syllabus at 20 hours per week. In the example GIF below, I put in May 10, 2020 as my start date and 20 hours as the number of hours I will like to study per week. The system generated an end date March 20, 2021. See the GIF below:

If you would like to study for 15 weeks, and you enter a start and end date, the Study Schedule will generate the number of hours it will take you to work through the Syllabus in 15 weeks, including taking PrepTests, Blind Reviewing, and watching explanation videos.
I hope this helps! let me know if you have any further questions!
So bottom line is that starting now and looking at the November administration is unrealistic according to 7sage because of the hours I would need to put in on a weekly basis?

What does your current process look like? Do you follow the same steps each time (consistent method), have easy to read notations that you understand, keep track of the types of games you struggle with? This is what my current step by step process is (of course personalize this so it works for you such as adding or removing certain steps). I typically rage between -1/-2 in a problem set and have about 2-3 minutes to go back and check my work.
1) Read the passage
a) Understand type of game
2) Write variables down
3) Scan Q1 to see possible Game Board Setup
4) Read/Write each rule out and label
a) Rule 1, Rule 2, Rule 3, etc.
b) Highlight what rules you have written down
5) Pare down your rules
a) Combine rules
b) Put variables in slots if possible
c) Recognize leaders and followers
6) Create Master Game Board
a) Create additional GB and label GB 1, GB 2, etc.
excellent really very helpful thnx much, i'm trying this on my pt in the am

Ah I can't even explain the emotion I have right now from completing the real thing! First of all I just want all of us to be communally celebrating regardless of any difficulties that came up. We completed the real test!
RC was freaking rough, man. I am having so many doubts regarding it that are making me almost want to cancel (I'm too hard-headed to actually do that though, LOL). LR and LG went great which is even more infuriating (why can't I perform well on ALL 3 sections?!?!). its just the RC that left me with genuine puzzlement until the last passage. Would love some encouragement even if it's feigned, good luck everyone and remember you're not alone in the painful 2 week wait for score releases!!
Well let us know your score and how it stacks up with your experience. Best of luck!

Those of you who had LG last... I can't stop thinking about the first game, actually. I had a tough time with it, so much so that I kind of decided to cut and run to the other games, which I thought weren't easy but fine. Anyone else have a similar experience with that first game?
Are you talking about the apt/pets/no pets? If so I'm wondering have you found a practice problem similar to it?

Do you think law schools that I was waitlisted for would consider the July lsat?
Yes, contact them.
wow, it seems worth the effort - I'll give it a try. thnx
I will review the LR section, I have not however, been as diligent as you suggest about why I have been wrong - maybe that's it, because when I see the correct answer I'm like yup, but maybe or should I say obviously I need to know why.
I would definitely try. I had a good 1st proctor but the switch over was a disaster and the second proctor arrived from Dante's hell. I would also ask if they can avoid any pop ups on your screen during the transfer if it even has to occur as it is super distracting. My 2nd proctor refused to communicated with me.
#help I've been hitting the mid 150's and what I've noticed is that I am missing all and I mean all the V. High questions and none of V. Low questions. What am I missing? I am shooting for the 160's (going to my state school) and while my score will get me in - I want to hit the 160's. I'm just not able to make the move up. Any suggestions?? TIA
You are allowed to use the search function on the flex but the problem is if you get unlucky with a proctor whose not up to date
That is what I have been doing but on my last practice test I lost time. So I guess the question would be is getting more right right answers better than finishing?
Interesting, I was interrupted via pop up and my proctor would not speak to me even when I specifically asked them to - I don't understand why the LSAC hasn't clarified some of these basics. When I called the LSAC they offered a retake but loss of this score. When I asked about stopping the clock or getting time the LSAC person on the phone insisted they can not stop the clock which I know to be incorrect, but she would not concede. So emailing the LSAC to have this info. I'm stressed because if July does not go through I will not be able to start in in 2020. ProctorU has not done a smooth roll out and the LSAC does not seem to be on top of things either.
How are you handling making notations on/for your RC - highlighting is not enough for me is the only tool available? I feel like I'm losing time writing down things.

Just finished the test. I had: LG, RC, LR. LG was very easy, pretty straightforward sequencing games plus one difficult one (the cabinets). I had a lot of test anxiety and unfortunately panicked and my brain just stopped working though. So I'm kicking myself because I know the games were easy. RC had the section on jazz, made no sense. LR also talked about chimps, cooks, aide between municipalities. I did not find LR to be unreasonably difficult. I did not have enough time for both LG and RC.
I had technical issues 5 minutes before the end of LG. My proctor lost connection to my video (it was still recording me though -- and I live in the city with great wifi). I had to wait for about half an hour before I could resume the test. She transferred me to technical help and I had to reboot my computer. During this time I desperately wanted to finish my game board for the last game and make all possible inferences but I knew I was being filmed and didn't want to be accused of cheating. I started at 1:10PM EST and finished at 4PMEST.

Easily the most difficult LR section I’ve ever taken....and I’m fairly good at LR. Average about -3/4.
Had to flag about 10 questions and eventually ran out of time.....which has never happened before.
Can you follow up on what your LR score is - just curious to see how things translate out?

I've been doing all 4 and I'm actually worse on the second. I know that there is a difference, however slight, in difficulty between the LR sections, so I figured I should do both. I guess 4 sections will seem easy on test day (July). However, I heard something about the conversion so I'm wondering what everyone else is doing.
@ what do you mean by '4 will seem easy on test day'? I thought that the Flex was only 3 sections? Thanks!
The PTs have 4 sections while the flex is 3 sections, so if I have been doing 4 sections 3 will seem easier. I'm just not sure that is a good strategy, but I don't know which LR section to choose if only doing

Are you taking the full practice test or just the 3 flex sections and using the converter tool?
Some people have indicated that their score went down when the did the flex version. Has anyone experienced this?
It seems obvious I guess. Thanks for spelling it out - I better get to it.
How important is memorizing Groups 1-4 on a scale of 1-10 and why don't we throw in Conclusion & Premise indicators?

When is the next one - will there be one before the July test?????
Hi! Is there a way to print the logic games section from tests I've taken?
I want to redo them?

if you watch the power score podcast they talk more in depth about the June and may lsat.
Yes I checked it out, it was really interesting. Thnx
If you have time and are willing to help an "older" student I'd love to have a few tips. It LG that's keeping me under 160. And congrats to you for beating the beast!
Thanks Kate

Hi,
I watched the video for LG full proofing method and wondered if the strategy is to complete the 10 clean copies or stop when we have both speed and control.
Thanks!
What video are you talking about? Do you have a link?
Any suggestions on how to improve my in/out and double layered sequencing?
LG is keeping my score under 160.
Thnx.
I have taken PT 81,68,80, 66 & 79. Are there any recommendations which ones I should include these last few weeks? I generally take one every other day. Thanks - (I'll cross post this)

Hmmm, I just tried it and it worked. I input November 14th as the end date and today as the start date...the study hours were automatically greyed out and I did not enter anything. I then hit make custom schedule and it automatically allocated 55 hours/week in 3.7 months.
If you manually enter your study hours/week that may be the issue where the system divides 900 hours by your study hours/week
Apparently from now to Nov 14 I don't have enough hours to complete the program. I just thought it was an error.
