I got PT140.S2.Q19 wrong, I feel, because my initial translation of the stimulus was wrong. I didn't fully understand what the argument's conclusion was. Because this argument is so weak, I feel like we have to REALLY think within the bounds of the argument and identify what will 100% break down the argument and boil the conclusion down to something really digestible. In blind review, I got it right only because I slowed down and really understood the stimulus and looked at the answer choices in the strict context of the stimulus.
For question 1, I translated everything right the first time around, but I had a hard time believing the conclusion was JUST about the volume of recyclables and felt there had to be something about the cost. But, the argument is only concerned with the volume, and our job is to find something that would show the different recyclable programs differ in volume collected. The only one that accurately describes that is D. *PS, having to do BR for questions you got correct is a bit counterintuitive, no? I feel like it makes you second guess your reasoning that was correct the first time around.
