i don't understand the stimulus at all. how would the regulations discourage the landowners from protecting the endangered species if the regulations still hold? is the stimulus implying that the landowners are developing on the property anyway (and therefore not protecting the species)? if this isn't the case, what does it mean that they aren't protecting the species?

Found the tone of the explanation to be unnecessarily rude. I think there is a valid argument to be made (stated by @azahthomas661) that A isn't a very strong answer.

This passage only discusses one principle in evidence law. How are we supposed to extrapolate that to be about the entirety of evidence law and arrive at AC B?

This question took me such a long time, as do a lot of questions with mixed conditional/causal logic. Tips on how to become more fluent on these types of questions?

This is maybe the hardest question I've ever encountered. I chose D but changed on blind review. I know that it goes the opposite direction of support in terms of the argument, but the question is just asking about characteristics of repressors. Why should we not say that desire for success explains the characteristic of repressing thoughts and feelings?

Why is E correct? I feel like the main point of the picaro is that he is following his natural inclinations like everyone else is. The difference is that they're not doing it out in the open like he is, but that's not anywhere in the answer choice

I understand how A is right but I don't get how D is wrong.

If the competitors were offering free shipping before, that would give them an advantage over our company, meaning our company would be at a disadvantage and may have less sales than others. When our company starts offering free shipping, it brings us to an even playing field and thus may have increased sales. This is in contrast to us starting to offer free shipping at the same time as all the other companies, which would probably not increase sales since it doesn't give any one company advantage over the others.

I know this isn't as strong a line of thinking as AC A, but in the hypothetical absence of a stronger answer choice, could D hold water as a correct AC?

Had a hard time discerning from the passage as to whether the thing that made it a "national" theater was the scale of the operation or the geographic range, as the passage mentions both in the paragraph. What are some tells that it refers to geographic range?

I'm so confused. Q8 ACA is answered verbatim in the last sentence? It says that high-latitude habitats such as the tundra are expected to experience the greatest temperature increase.

Video explanation touched on this but I still don't get how the anthropologists' assertion in Q14 can be extrapolated to all "researchers in the social sciences." What gives us the power to make this assumption?

Doesn't "two distinct populations" mean that the two populations were genetically different? I feel like AC B was pretty strong considering that it shows that the environmental conditions of the lake lend themselves to a species splitting into two subspecies.

@MaxThompson @embino Also, on Q14 of this passage, the question asks "The passage provides enough information to answer which one of the following questions?" and C) "Does the iron content of Earth exceed 50 percent of its total mass?" is wrong because "Although the passage does indicate that Earth has iron, it doesn’t indicate what proportion of Earth’s mass is iron." But since Payne proved that 90% of the sun, and by the logic you presented, the sun's mass, is hydrogen and helium, wouldn't this mean that we can answer this question?

I'm confused. Are we also to assume that when the agency "tries to collect payment from the customers," that payment goes to the agency and not the company? I assumed that the payment would eventually make its way to the company which might be where the ACs are tripping me up.

@mosam1997 That's what I thought too! Seems like it also requires us to assume that all the options that the doctor offers equate to the doctor's advice.

I don't understand how "no particular business will be especially hurt" versus "we can buy a hose and water the garden with the hose" isn't enough to disqualify A? One is a recommendation and the other is a prediction.

Are there any indicators that "Skin cancer generally develops among the very old as a result of sunburns experienced when very young" means "skin cancer as a whole is most common in the very old..." versus "skin cancer that is seen specifically in the old develops for these reasons" ?? I interpreted it as the latter and that's why I got this question wrong.
