I got tripped up on both B and D, but I ended up picking E. I understand why D is wrong, but can anyone go into more detail about B, just so I don't get tripped up on similar questions? How are we supposed to know what "phenomenon" it is referring to? #help
I don't think D is too strong. Think about it, what point is the argument rejecting?
"It is widely believed that the most environmentally sensible thing to do is to buy from local farmers whenever it is available."
It is arguing that buying from local farmers is actually NOT the MOST environmentally sensible thing to do (rejects this idea), and goes on to describe why: sometimes it is preferable to buy food not produced locally because of some places can produce it with less impact etc.
Sorry can you go more into depth about the LR flashcard method?
Lol whoops. Never mind. My brain is fried lol
On my practice test, #4 is an economics question regarding the production of steel and lace?
"For every child born to...."
#help I feel like the "after all" portion is just an extension of the lack of evidence, which is why I chose A.
"Since a few recipes survived (lack of evidence)...recipes of Apicius may have been highly atypical."
I don't see it as a completely separate premise? We don't know whether or not his recipes are highly atypical due to lack of evidence.
I do understand, however, how "rejects" is too strong of a word.
