if you become Michael Phelps, you'll be olympic champion. so all the swimmers, who're not transforming themselves into Michael Phelps, are not acting in the way that's most likely to become olympic champion.

I claimed that by putting all the orange tabby cats in the world on a diet, sun will rise east tomorrow. The conclusion is false because it depends on assuming all orange cats can be put on diet.

I think the flaw is that they didn't measure the number of hour exercised before. Grp 1 reported 1hours more than Grp 2, are they also reporting the +1hour than grp2 before watching anything? if so that has nothing to do with motivation.

Going by JY line of thought, I would predict A to say sth like "fails to consider that pollution is a preventable factor". I don't think A addressed the assumption error (assume P is part of incurable majority), rather calls out "the only effective way". Even if P is really just part of the incurable majority of cancer, a significant reduce overall can still be achieved by addressing other preventable factors, rather than closing factories being the only effective way.

I have the same concern. Scored a 166 while the school I am applying to has a median of 167. Do I wait to apply after retaking the LSAT in November and risk having them already accepted a lot of students, or apply early with the risk of being denied before I submit my November score.

_( IDK if this is the part we should roll the dice. Is there a place in App to specify we are taking a future LSAT?(/p)

Hi, Asia LSAT test taker here. Nothing disastrous. Also aiming for Cornell or somewhere similar. I'm thinking of submitting application in November and if I get accepted somewhere I can retake in January for scholarship negotiation purposes...I think this is better than waiting out to retake in January because January scores won't come out until Februrary and schools will have already accepted many students so only a few seats left....

Thanks for replying! I mean it would work if they at least place me on a waitlist. But I'm kinda worried that they just directly reject people who's below median score. I agree that we should apply to other schools with lower median early and at least have somewhere to go.

Hi All, I just took Oct LSAT in Asia (can't discuss, zip my mouth...), nothing disastrous happened although I was slightly nervous. Usually I score between 167-170. I want to apply to Cornell. If I get 165-167, which is below the median I'll should retake LSAT in January. In that case, should I still submit application in November when the score is released or do I risk being rejected out of hand? Advice is much appreciated!

I found the explanation of 18 confusing. the question asks for evidence that supports relationship between dental caries and carb consumption, not to support relationship between dental caries and agriculture. So paragraph 3 in Passage A actually supports this relationship. they eat highly processed stone-ground flour (which is highly processed food, and carb) and have more dental caries. It's non conforming to the hypothesis for dental caries and agriculture, but conforming to the relationship between dental caries and carb diet, so it should count as evidence.

I finally got B, "always 10degrees lower" means even at night T is still 10 degrees lower when C has a temperature drop.

I think E. "for a given bee species" is actually covering all bee species. we only know HB and BB, so it's too broad.

the conclusion lands on people need more than one newpaper, not on "all stories". so even if the arg's not gearing towards all stories, that's not a flaw.
