How do we know to translate "is nothing more than" to a necessary condition? To me it seems like the first sentence should be translated to something like: ma -> ka, ka = smb ...

Not if you cancel before taking I believe
Just make sure the school isn't picky about addenda. Some might hate it, but they should have guidance online.
How did you know that an “ancient Greek play” was written during ancient Greek times? Like, what if I made a play about ancient Greece in 2019, wouldn't that also be called an "ancient Greek play" ... and what if I was super inaccurate? Then how can we reject the idea that people in REAL ancient Greece didn't read silently to themselves?

#help Q20 answer choice C seems really unintuive to me because they use the word "figurative"... like my understanding of that word made me think they were making SUPER abstract things, like a bowl with handles to represent a goat or something .. versus something possibly less abstract like a cube for a square house?
Can we also have a feature to exclude certain prep-tests? I want to avoid some that I will be using as full length practice :) This is a cool feature !

I took the June 2022 LSAT for the first time and was told section 4 was experimental. I Assumed that section 4 was experimental for this September 2022 test even though it didn't have the survey questions.... im literally having a panic attack. the first RC was easy for me the second RC I read the first passage said nope I don't have to do this and just selected random answers. I feel like they should have let me know somehow that this test or test moving forward will have the random experimental section. I literally am praying to any and all gods that the second reading comprehension is experimental.
I would write down on paper the general topics from the first RC & listen to PowerScore's September recap & see if you got lucky. They can usually figure out which one was the real section & they tell everyone on that podcast.
POE was really the only way here lol
I think I'd rather eat a pile of dirt than read any more art passages. Any advice on maintaining interest in subjects that you despise?
Wow this was a great post :)
Is there a pattern in what types of questions you are getting wrong? I think LR is a bit unqiue in that going back and reviewing strategy/lesson videos (from 7sage's curriculium) for specific question types can help a lot. For example, I struggled a lot with weakening questions because I was able to justify a bunch of the answer choices by coming up with my own assumptions, but the lesson videos bascially taught me not to do that anymore lol.
100% agree. Thermal Insulators prevent transfer of heat right? I don't see how this can't keep things cold or hot
I basically treated this question as a "Strengthen the author's analogy" question, which is why I choose B
Loll I was so creeped out by the picture of the hairless dog that I just choose A and moved on :/
I think JY's explanation of why A is incorrect is wrong. It's probably wrong because it does not say that there has been a trend of increasing numbers of unprepared students. Without any information telling us there has been a CHANGE in the student's preparedness, this answer choice cannot explain trends over time.
I choose A and I didn't even attribute the belief that etiquette helps people get along to the "people" later discussed. I just thought that having a belief that does not match reality is contradictory ... to the state of the world. I think the key part of answer choice (A) that should have tipped me off was the word "views"; since it is plural we know that the people in question would have to know or be aware of the state of the world in order for there to be a contradiction.
I am not a re-applicant so take my advice with a huge grain of salt. However, I would at the very minimum make significant edits to the personal statement. I think it shows that you're serious about wanting to improve your application over last cycle.
I still want to hold on to E because I really have a hard time seeing how "Knowing" what anyone else is thinking or feeling is not indicating a belief in telepathy. Isn't that the definition of telepathy? Someone might have a very good sense of what a friend is PROBABLY feeling based on sensitivity or experience, but unless you believe in telepathy you cannot KNOW what someone else is thinking or feeling.
LSAT language is usually more precise than this? Maybe I'm missing something.
Just finished! I'm either super happy or super sad depending on which section was experimental
