@BenDonnelly Sorry I am not a tutor and it's late but this is the way I saw it
The correct answer says:
"Unless Florida panthers acquire a larger habitat, their population will not be self-sustaining."
Self-Sustaining > Larger Habitat
Your logic would be correct if it said "If it got a larger habitat, it would be self sustaining"
(i.e Larger Habitat > Self-sustaining) (What if it only got a habitat enough for 10 panthers? What if poachers get the panther?)
For example:
Correct:
If I bought this car, then I made more money. (It is necessary that I made enough money for the car. The car is sufficient to prove this)
Mistaken Negation:
If I made more money, then I bought this car. (What if I only made $20? What if I don't even really wanna buy this car?)
So, if it's self-sustaining you necessarily have a habitat large enough.
@mdhrti I think you might have conflated universalizing with 'central'. 'Universal' here refers to a shared presence in cultures rather than making a value judgement (i.e how important it was).
It could very well be the case that ancient cultures cared a lot more about storytelling than modern cultures as nothing in the text explicitly refutes this. At least that is the way I saw it.

@monmon Thank you for catching this lol I was scratching my head trying to figure this out
