Anyone in the Bay Area studying for the August test? I am on summer vacation so currently studying full time. I'm also pretty good at RC, I can consistently get -2 to -0 so I might be able to help someone with that. My big weakness is setting up the board and making inferences on the LG. I don't have anything going on so I can video call or meetup whenever. :)
I was stuck between A and B and I chose A.
I still don't really understand why A is wrong. The phenomenon is that although people complain about government intervention, they tend not to reelect inactive politicians, thus is explained by the conclusion, because people's political behavior frequently does not match their rhetoric...

I think the fact that a person with a 175 would still have a 50% chance of getting this question wrong just goes to show how incredibly vague and unintiuitive the assumption of individuals vs non individuals is for this prompt.
I actually specifically ruled out B because earlier in the passage it states the cows "stray outside its pasture". I took this to mean that the cow would be isolated. If the cow was alone, it wouldn't matter if they usually follow the same few members of the herd. I chose A for this reason. Damn, looks like I totally overthought this one.
