The assumptions you have to make on #7 to get to B is just ludicrous. What kind of water transportation? Since when do people use rivers for water transportation?
I went with A because the passage mentioned that plants may have disease fighting properties that could help humans. It made more sense to me at the time although I see why it's wrong now.
I did not get an email about test times. Was I supposed to?
Ok not to be rude but literally who cares if the moderators asked that the info not be shared. It's kind of annoying to keep info like this behind a pay wall but if anyone who went to the seminar is willing to share the info ($$$) please message me.
I think there's literally no downside to purchasing score preview (barring financial difficulties). If you like the score, keep it. If you don't, cancel.
This passage poisoned my water supply, burned my crops, and delivered a plague onto my house.
I think E relies on just as many, if not more assumptions than C. You're meant to assume that students go into chemistry for its intellectual appeal?? This question is trash.
E tripped me up because of the word implausible. It's really not implausible for a city not to enforce enforce parking regulations but ok.
Idc A makes the most sense. What a crappy question.
Maybe I misread, but if you're applying for next cycle what's the rush to take in January, or even February?
So A could be true, but all we know is that pollinating insects are attracted to unwilted poppy flowers. There's nothing to indicate that they're not attracted to wilted ones. We don't know what they're not attracted.
As for why B is the most strongly supported:
We know that 1) When a poppy flower is pollinated, a substance is released into it that causes their petals to wilt
We also know that 2) When this substance is released into a poppy flower, their petals will wilt within a few days
We also know that 3) Cutting an unpollinated poppy flower will release the substance into it that causes wilting
Because we know that 'substance being released -----> wilting', we can assume that a cut flower will wilt in a few days.
Don't overthink in regards to the nutrients part. B is basically saying if the poppy flower is cut, their petals will wilt within a few days. Hope this helps.
January isn't too late to apply this cycle. There's still 2 months till the Jan test- that will put you at a minimum of 4 months of studying under your belt (5 if you studied after your Oct test till now).
This is just so beyond ridiculous like E is just so insanely worded. How is that a normal use of the word significant?? So if 5 houses have 10 apartments each and 15 houses have 0 apartments, somehow 5 houses is a significant number???
