Is there a difference in support levels between a "premise 1" and a "premise 2?" In other words, are these different from a chunk of sentences labeled "premises?" Also, for 6.1, is background/observation relevant in terms of premise/conclusion purposes? How are the two types of arguments distinguishable? Is a background/observation passage an argument?
