Hi All, Has anyone signed up for tomorrows test and Decembers? Just curious to know how many people schedule this way and what are your reasons?

I literally saw a woman in her 70s taking the test on Saturday and thought she was an undercover proctor. I'll be 27 when I start and that seems old to me, but that feeling is obviously subjective and won't translate into lack of opportunity in the workforce after law school.
that is so funny! Undercover proctor. > @danielznelson160 said:
Curious on what people think.
My opinion is no since the average age is somewhere like 24-25 (or so I read somewhere) - however for those going at 26 you presumably won't graduate until 29-30 - could those "big law" jobs potentially go to younger candidates with the same qualifications?
No way! It all depends on you and where you want to be where you graduate. My friends father went to law school in his 50s! It is never too late to get yourself a better education than what you already have. Keep on studying! Who cares how old you are.
I felt defeated in the logic games. I don't know why I wasn't able to focus on that section. I only did 2 games - I am signing up for December to redeem myself.
I am upset at myself because I didn't believe the games were particularly difficult compared to any other PT. :(

In June I got there at noon and honestly it was around 12:45 before they even started to check us in. I plan to arrive at 8 to be safe, but no earlier. I'm also bringing a few easy logic games to kill time and distract myself while waiting around. Easy to kickstart anxiety when your mind is idle!!!
Interesting. I like that idea, may steal it from you!

I decided at a young age to become an immigration lawyer. Seeing my father until this day yearning for legal status has driven me to help undocumented people as much as possible. We have spent thousands, been ripped off by attorneys, and have been through so much heartache that if he does not obtain legal status by the time I graduate law school, I'm going to represent him myself.
Love it! I want to do Immigration Law as well. Not sure if I want to be a practicing lawyer. i would rather help in creating policies and helping my community as whole instead of one at a time

LOL!! this exactly how I am going to feel tomorrow.
Long but very good explanation. Like a foundation of a house! :)
Wouldn't being tall be considered a sufficient assumption though. I consider the necessary assumption like a foundation. If someone is 8 feet tall that's not necessary to be the best b-ball player. But it is necessary for you to be alive. Like swimming- I beat Michael Phelps in the Olympics. Therefore, i am the best swimmer in the universe. The necessary assumption would be- I know how to swim. Not I have long arms or I can hold my breath under water. In order for me to be the best swimmer, I must know how to swim.
Hey GUYS! Wanted to know what some of you are bringing for snacks on the day of the test?
I plan on only applying to CUNY law since its the cheapest. Student loans and what ever I can afford to pay myself. I plan to work FT and go to school PT.
Thanks for sharing your journey through the exam. Congrats on your score! I got some amazing information from this and will implement it in my studying.
Thanks Katherine. I have rescheduled my exam from october to december already and I was skeptical in rescheduling it back then. I haven't improved much since then because I haven't been putting my best foot forward in studying. I'm definitely going to try 7sage. I've already taken an lsat course from a different company and I've read the entire Powerscores bible on LR. I just recently started studying a few hours a day. My last PT only showed an improvement of 3 points. But I should definitely be more realistic and put off the exam until I feel completely ready.
Hey all,
I have signed up for the december lsat but I'm not sure if I should reschedule it. I have been scoring very low on my PT. I am scoring in the low 140s. Would it be a miracle to score in the mid 150s by december? Should I reschedule for a later date? Any comments or suggestions on this

Haha this might annoy some people but....I don't drink!
I didn't drink till I turned 21 for a variety of reasons (thank you alcoholic father!) so instead I will instruct you to join the zombie cohort. Sleep till you physically cannot sleep any more and then Netflix an entire series in two days.
If you feel like drinking... I can help
Haha I work full time! I can't sleep much and it's torture. And I drank a lot when I was a Marine...I drank too much when I was a Marine. So I recently quit smoking and drinking (6ish months) and plan on keeping it up
6months clean! I plan to completely remove liquor out of my life...but first I'd like to finish the wine sitting in my kitchen  But honestly its more for physical and mental health!

Now that I've completed the LSAT... what do I do?
I get that I should start working on my applications and PS/LORs. I'm just completely unmotivated in all honesty. Even though I really want a good portion to be done before the score comes out incase I need to retake. Has anyone else had the post LSAT slump to try to shuffle through? Particularly with the needing to get on top of your applications?
Honestly, since the day of the LSAT i have tried time and time again to pick up my book and study because I feel like i got a 120 :( ugh! But i end up shopping online. Looking at my LSAT book makes me depressed and anxious. My motivator is reading Amal Clooney's bio though... anyone? LOL
I am going to relax this week and try again next week with LSAT studies! Wish me luck :)
