Can I apply before taking the LSAT?

Hi all,

Im taking my first LSAT in January. Can I send in my applications without the LSAT score? I see that there is an option on the apps to put when you plan to take the LSAT if you haven't already. Is there a benefit/negative to sending in your application without your LSAT score?

Good job! Could i ask how you did this in 1.5 months? Did you finish the cc? Which pts have you taken so far?

Thank you!

I finished the CC first. I followed the schedule that 7sage set and it was very helpful. I am currently on practice test 42. I am about a week and a half behind of where I should be on the practice tests because I work full time

148 - 166 in 1.5 months!

I started studying on September 1st and got a diagnostic score of 148. I have been studying consistently for almost two months with some breaks in between. Last week, I hit 166! I take the LSAT in January and wanted to ask if there is something more I should be doing to prepare for the test or should I just continue to take practice tests? My goal score was 160 so I am having a hard time feeling motivated to continue to study although I know I have to.

Hi Elle.

I am also taking the LSAT (for the first time) in January and applying with that score. Most of my application material is ready and I just have to put the finishing touches on my personal and diversity statement. I have been PTing between 160-168 this past month so I hope to get a good enough score in January, but I will be applying with that score regardless if its a 155 or a 175.

I know this process is stressful, but once I came to accept that no matter what, I will be going to law school even if its my top choice or my last choice, I have felt a lot more calm. My goal is to send in my apps the day scores come out, and counter to what a lot of people said, it is not too late in the cycle. Good luck and if you need anyone to read over your PS or DS, let me know!
