Are you taking your practice exams with the time conditions you have for the real exam?
And for the WAJ, definitely review questions you get wrong the first time, even if you get them right on blind review. Just prioritize the ones you get wrong both times first.
One good thing I find is that I have a bit of adrenaline going during a real exam, so I tend to be less sluggish than when I’m taking a practice. Hopefully, that’ll be you too. But for practice? I suggest drinking some water during your break and stretching. Try to change your movements a bit during this time and treat the second half as a kind of new start. You have the break to reset a little bit, so shake it out and try to get into the headspace you had when starting the first section. It’s tough for sure!
@NatalieWolfgang Super crazy long response sorry, but I went about it like this:
The question says most (So more than half) of the students attended every class. Every student that received a grade lower than B- missed a class.
The answers:
A) Some of the students (meaning any fraction at all) with a grade of A- or higher attended every class session. Well, the question has no information about A- students. For all we know, nobody made an A- or higher, and the highest grade was a B-. So we can't pick this because we don't have enough info.
B) Most (meaning, more than half) of the students who missed a class have a grade lower than B-. We have no idea how many students made lower than a B- or how many students missed a class. We just know that less than half of the total missed a class. So we can't pick this.
C) Most of the students received a grade higher than a B-. We have no idea. Because every student who scored lower than a B- missed a class, we know that less than half of the students made lower than a B-. But we don't know who made HIGHER than a B-. Everyone else could have made a B- and that would make this answer false. So we can't pick it.
D) At least one student with a B- or higher missed a class. No, we aren't told that from the fact pattern. It says that everyone with a score lower than B- missed a class. For all we know, everyone who missed a class made lower than a B-. We can't pick this.
E) More than half (aka most) received a B- or higher. Yes, because only the people who missed a class made lower than a B-, and less than half the class missed a class.
Hope this helps!
Yes, that's great! Keep it up
