I really struggled with question 3, got it right for different reason and wanted your opinion. I thought the conclusion was that the groups of turtles were distinct ie lived and bred separately. I thought that answer D showed that these turtles are potential a genetic match with both groups signifying both groups mating and therefore weakening the idea of them being distinct and seperate in terms of breeding. Does this logic still work or did I get lucky?
@NathanHochman The fact that they are different groups, Pacific and Atlantic, just acts to give you background on the turtles. The conclusion in this passage is the statement about the Baja turtles hatching in Japanese waters. And the evidence that supports this is that the DNA of the Baja and Japanese groups match by 95%. The answer that weakens it is the one that basically says, "Well, that evidence doesn't support your conclusion because the Pacific Baja turtles also match the Atlantic turtles DNA by 95%."
The reason that answer choice C on question 2 did not seem like the correct answer to me if because it says the amount of traffic decreased significantly and steadily over that entire 9 year period. And the stimulus makes it seem as though something much more sudden happened right at 1986 that made a significant change.
I just want to say that I'm genuinely glad you don't feel the need to do a wrap up at the end of all these videos, they just end when the content is through. No time wasted or fluff!
For 6, I do not understand how it is not b. The last line says essentially that the social problems in egypt were serious and due to the severe dry spell. Answer choice B says that the social problems were serious enough to cause the collapse. Thus, in connection with the argument, this would strengthen it the most because it is literally saying the social problems, caused by the dry spell/environmental problem caused collapse.

The author is saying that although there were serious social problems, they were the result of a severe dry spell (basically saying that the dry spell = the cause for the collapse). With this conclusion in mind, we can see that (B) doesn't strengthen this argument, since (B) would support social problems as the main cause of collapse, instead of dry spells.
#6 tripped me up because when I read answer choice D, I read 'the deteriorating conditions of society' as referring to the deteriorating physical conditions, hinting at a drought, which is why I had thought it to be the most strengthening. I guess it seemed to be referring to the social conditions, though.
I wasted time re-reading the stim for questions 5 & 6 because the correct ACs were subtle. I got them right but the wasted time hurt me when I got to the last question.
The question about the chemical wastes being dumped into Cod Bay really tripped me up because I was thinking of the answer choices as things I would personally ask about the situation without actually paying attention to just understanding what the representatives are claiming and whether each answer choice is relevant in evaluating the validity of the conclusion they came to.
