Question 15 was trippy because I knew that C wasn't completely correct but I still chose it cus it looked like the closest thing sigh :/
Basically because we know K HAS to be at least smaller than one, but could be smaller than two we just don't have enough information to know if it's two.
I thought E sounded too mickey mouse and ended up choosing B...
The flashbacks I got to studying Fukuyama in my first year of college were trmendous
This whole lesson "Don't make assumptions". This specific question" you better warm up because of all the leaps to assumptions you gonna have to make
The reason why I did not pick B and instead picked E was because B seemed too absolute? LiAlso E kinda worked with the logic map so ugh
They should have left this especific question for a latter set after studying flaws in arguments. It seems to me that rather than a weakening question this is a mix between flaw in arg and weakening.
Putting this in a weakening problem set it's completely unfair since at this point in the curriculum we haven't even touched on flaws in arguments and I feel we need that knowledge in order to answer this specific question.
The sinking feeling when you switched your answer from D to C in BR... Haha :|
Came to this explanation after doing the weakening questions set this question is in.
After watching the explanation this is definitely a strengthening question that has been miss-classified.
As confusing as the question stem was, it's basically asking for additional support towards the argument, that is why AC C is correct. If you misread and base your reasoning on this question being classified as a "weakening" question, you will without a doubt get it wrong because instead of looking for something to strengthen the conclusion you are looking for something to weaken it.
Being between B and C and choosing wrong really hurt me in my soul
