Mhmm E is more of a fact than something that resolves the issue at hand.
Were supposed to resolve if there's more laws why are the deaths the same?
E just says most of the people who died didn't have a seat belt. Ok but why were the amount of deaths the same tho?
The law is supposed to prevent deaths but the deaths are the same amount. AC E just gives us a fact about the deaths in the report but it doesn't explain why the report stayed the same despite more laws.
Its kind of like saying there were more laws preventing smoking, yet the amount of people who get lung cancer stayed the same. The wrong AC would say something like the people who got lung cancer most of them smoke. Ok but WHYYY is the amount the same despite more laws. It merely gives us a description of the group instead of reconciling both issues.
Hope this helps anyone as I got this one wrong and now I understand why it is correct AC.
Was this passage easy for anyone else or just me I got 6/6 correct mhmm?
Yep. I see it now. We are concerned with our practice, and the stimulus says "certain" pesticides. The conclusion is focused with saying, "its our practice that causes this risk." AC, C tells us,"well theres other countries that do it as well." Which weakens that its "our practice." Someone correct me if I am wrong lol.
Correct I believe the AC C is correct because it is the negated version of the principle.
So in these questions it is okay to not take the contrapositive? I was hooked on taking the contrapositive and seeing if an answer matches one of them.
god this is like a matching game , i like to label my premises with letters then match it to the answer choice got it right in 2 minutes
