LG games was my worse now I miss at most -2 and sometimes - 0. You can get better at it by doing less and simplifying your approach/thinking of it. Its really trial and error with technique so you shouldnt give up
yeah review is always helpful but i think it may also be helpful to your score if you take time even a full day to review a particular part of the test for example if you struggle with grouping games you can dedicate a whole day or two only to grouping games. I think we convince ourselves that taking prep-tests and covering a variety of material is productive but can be too much at once which will only delay your progress.
i would suggest holding off on taking prep tests for a while and focus more on breaking down each section of the exam. my most significant increase has been after a two month break of no full prep tests
you should try studying only 1 hr a day for a bit. that helped me out a lot. I used to dedicate 3-4 hrs a day with little progress and taking it down def helped
You're welcome let me know id you want to talk out any other issues like specific sections I think it would be mutually beneficial for us
you should youtube search 180 minimalist his approach is helpful and addresses issues beyond methods and techniques that could be helpful
take it at the testing center, took it twice remotely and it was BS both times
I eliminated (C) based on an explanation video of PT37 S4 Q20 that JY explained as the incorrect answer being a common trap because it simply restates the conclusion. Answer choice seems like its making that mistake, can someone please explain?

I would forget about that prep test and keep studying. Its normal for scores to fluctuate because there could be many factors that contributes to a drop that are beyond your understanding of the test or a reflection of your work. I've had 8 point differences that I believe I could attribute to external factors like lack of sleep, focus, or simply no motivation to get through the test. Or sometimes would rush a test before work only to be disappointed. The sooner you get over that 144 the more time you can commit to studying :]
just remember that the career of an attorney is 10x more demanding than the lsat and it should really be considered to be the first of many challenges of your legal journey. :]
u should read loophole by cassidy. different and in my opinion and much more simple approach to LR after reading it i would score - 5 and my best -3 in LR
no do not waste time writing about this, ignore that comment above. Ive applied to law schools before and have talked to counselors about related issues. I was given a ticket for ditching school once and I didnt bother writing about. had no issues at all and was admitted to the law schools i applied to also leaving out middle school incidents they dont care about that nor will they be conducting some extensive background check on you. You have more important things to discuss like your gpa, personal statement, and lsat,
I found myself really stressing over the best method and trying different approaches from various sources. It really made a big difference when I simplified my approach no matter the type of game.
1 when writing rules down mark any repeating players and try to combine them with another rule
2 constantly be on the look out for highly restricted spots/players
3 I found that not even trying to deduce up front for the highest difficulty games is better because they are difficult and time consuming on purpose and will be best resolved as you go through the game.
I average - 0 or -2 now on LG
Try it if it helps if not try something else :]
watched a video that was helpful in explaining the LSAT must be learned in phases, simply drilling and becoming familiar with what is expected is one phase and dealing with applying what you have practiced and learned under time pressure is just another phase. I guess it was helpful to break it down like that to me. If you miss questions under prep tests its okay because it doesn't mean you don't know what you're doing you just need to analyze and train your mind to respond efficiently under a time constraint. Instead of thinking of the time pressure as a challenge I thought of it as just another component that will make me a better thinker beyond the LSAT because anyone could do well if they can take their sweet time but an efficient brain under pressure will always out perform :]
Thank you for the reply so will the lessons be text based from now only?
!!!!!
where are all the videos? is the beta basically just notes we read?
yeah i would start by just studying and not posting on these discussion boards as they can be pretty distracting :] as i am now
i also have adhd and eat silcone its more effective
there has never been an age restriction on law school admissions. where did you read that?
just dont drink anything
