I'm still learning myself, but I eliminated Answer Choice B because it seemed to flip the conditional around.
The stimulus says: well-designed public places ‑m→ artwork
But the answer choice says: public places artwork ‑m→ well-designed
Hope that helps! please feel free to share any feedback or correct me if I’m off!
I got the correct answer, but I used a different approach. I immediately eliminated A, C, and E because the stimulus specifically refers to both 'CFs and Rests,' while those choices mentioned only one or the other. Is this a good approach to use given the time pressure?
This may be a lot of work, but I screenshot the questions on my iPad to annotate and watch from my laptop.
I believe this also adds to the conversation, but there was a lesson that I watched on here that explained negation v. opposition that was helpful to understand negating statements
Negation: Contradiction
Opposition: Opposite
Example:
Negation: Rich - Comfortable, Poor, Middle Class (Anything that contradicts being rich, or like you said, "trying to poke holes in the argument and find a situation")
or you can capture the negation without putting all the examples:
Rich - not rich
Opposition: Hot- Cold (Just the opposite)
Same!
