Okay wait nvm. I see that I interpreted the wording of D's answer choice incorrectly and that it more supports my thought process after watching the video. I was confused I thought most of the other answer choices had more to do with the existence of extrasensory perception, not the publics opinion on them which is why I was confused.

So I understand why the answer is D, but I chose C, and this was my thought process based on the Stimulus, and I want to know where I went wrong. Waller stated that if such a thing as extrasensory perception existed, it would GENERALLY be accepted. I interpreted Waller's claims as him not saying that all skeptics would believe extrasensory perception was real but that since people had these powers, they would be able to demonstrate them to the general public, and this would be enough to make most people believe them. Chin, in his argument, said that the skeptics and elites are close-minded and would be able to convince the public that extrasensory perception is not real. In my opinion, when I answered this question, the argument was not two different arguments against the existence of extrasensory perception, (which I see now), but whether people who had these powers would be able to convince the public of its existence. At the time this to me was most supported by answer choice C.

Tiger: Not all humans can eat foods that are generally safe for human consumption. After all many humans have allergies to foods such as peanuts, gluten, eggs, and fruits.

Disney: James either goes to Panera or Chickfila every lunch break during work whenever James goes to Panera for lunch he always takes 5-10 minutes of his lunch break to get his food, whenever he goes to Chickfila he always takes 15-20 minutes to get his food. Today he took 8 minutes to get his food therefore he must've gone to Panera for lunch.

Trashcan: Daisy has lost her speaker, when she logs onto instagram she see's a picture of a speaker in her friends apartment identical to the one she lost. The last place she had her speaker was at that friends apartment, the speaker in the picture posted has the same hello kitty sticker on it that Daisy put on her speaker, and she cannot her speaker anywhere else. Therefore the speaker at her friends apartment must be hers.
