I'm trying to wrap my head around this. For exercise 2, Senator Amidala delivering her speech is a necessary condition for Chancellor Palpatine to be granted emergency powers, correct? If that is the case, then the reason that the conclusion was invalid was because we have no confirmation that the necessary condition occurred, right?
I'm confused. The different sets seem like two different categories. For example, in "some students in Mrs. Stoops' class can read.," why are students in Mrs. Stoops class one set, but people who can read (presumably just folks who can read in general) another set? Shouldn't it be, Mrs. Stoops' students who can read and Mrs. Stoops' students who cannot read?
