I had RC, LG, LR. I was almost shocked that I had RC first because that's what I had hoped I would get lol. I think because of that, it felt like the passages weren't too bad. Comparative (monopolies) was the worst out of them all but not the hardest I've ever done and the passage on dogs was super interesting which made it much easier. LG wrecked me. The 3rd game made no sense to me so I had to skip it for time. LR felt average, maybe even easier than I expected. But I felt defeated by the last 2 games so I had to get my confidence back up after the first few questions. Good luck y'all! We've got this.

@ Did you file an official complaint and retake October? Or did they comp November? I had several issues with my proctor and LSAC has not responded to multiple emails... hoping the lost time and interference doesn't hurt my score too much.

@ I immediately called LSAC after my test and spoke with a representative who filed a complaint on my behalf, so I was able to retake October.

I'm in a similar situation! I'm PTing in the low to mid150s right now and am trying to get to 160+ for August. I've been super frustrated because I feel like I do well on practice sets but when I go for the full flex practice tests SOMETHING happens and I don't score as high as I felt like I should. I'm almost done reading Loophole for LR and have started to focus on my weak spots in RC and LG to see if I can get my score up. I am going to take another PT soon and if I'm not happy with the score, I am more than likely going to sign up for October. I don't think I have the option to get my money back for my August test since this is my second attempt, so I will more than likely sit for August.

I took the exam on Sunday but needed to process everything that happened, lol. I took July and August, but I felt like I had a shot to get my goal score as I was finally PT'ing around it. I had LR-RC-LG. LR felt standard. RC I felt like the passages were quite dense but I got through all of them with time to go back and check my flagged questions. LG started out good, all of the games felt standard. But my proctor completely stopped my test because apparently my lighting needed to be adjusted although I didn't touch my lights at all for previous sections. I lost time as my proctor did not stop the clock and beyond that it completely threw me off for the section. I immediately contacted LSAC and the nice woman I spoke to recommended that I get a retake. Has anyone else had issues like this before? How long did it take for y'all to hear back from LSAC regarding your retake? I read about the Proctor U horror stories before but I didn't think that it would happen to me. :(

Hey Kirsten! I had a similar thing happen to me... :( My proctor messaged me about how my video had shut off (but the green recording light was still on so I was very confused)––both midway through the exam and also 3 minutes from the end––and they didn't stop my time. So frustrating!!!

It's SO frustrating!! I feel like ProctorU should know by know what they should and should not do and should not be disrupting us like this. Did you reach out to LSAC? They gave me a free retake!

I wouldn't. I am still working through the LG curriculum, but I find that JY references LR lessons a lot.

Thank You!

You're welcome! Good luck!

@ So we had very similar issues! I have not called. I absolutely need to do that, because I think a retake is warranted. Do you know yet when you will be retaking?

We did have similar issues although yours seem more severe than mine! You should definitely call LSAC on the dedicated Flex line (215-966-6640, if you need it). I didn't even have to wait to speak to a representative. Apparently we should be hearing back within the next day or two if we will be granted a retake on October 9th. Good luck!!

@ I'm sorry you had a horrible proctor. I'm also waiting for LSAC's confirmation email regarding the retake. I lost my internet connection right after I finished reading the first passage of RC, my third section. I got it back about 4-5 minutes later but obvi. I was panicking and couldn't remember anything I read from the passage. The proctor said I could contact LSAC to reschedule the test so I did. And the guy that I talked to said he submitted a claim for me, and I should be able to get a confirmation email by today or tomorrow, if not, I should call them again. He said the retakes will be scheduled for this Friday, but I'd need to wait for the LSAC's email to confirm the eligibility and the specific time. I'm also curious if anyone has ever had these experiences and know how the retakes work!!

I'm sorry that you had issues as well! I might have blacked out after speaking with my rep, but I did not know that I was supposed to be waiting for a confirmation e-mail. Hopefully we're able to retake on Friday!!

I'm sorry that this happened to you! I also had "technical difficulties" with my proctor beforehand and was interrupted during my games which lead to me losing time. :( I immediately called LSAC after I finished and I spoke to someone who took my statement and said that they were going to recommend that I be offered a retake. Have you tried calling them too?
