Think I totally bombed the LR section. Idk if it was harder or if I was too in my own head. I really burnt out these last few weeks 🙁
Except for the last LG, i think LG went good. But I have a weird feeling about LR, I dont think I did well. Mixed feelings about RC, no idea how it went
I took it this morning - LG, LR, RC. LG had a game about diplomats traveling to London, Madrid, and Paris. LR had a question about bureaucratic efficiency, alcohol from wormwood, and whether a town should manage cable TV. RC had a passage about neoclassical sculpting, worker oversight of companies, suburban sprawl comparative passage, and one on Hooper's theory of hedges in England. LG felt the most challenging of the 3 sections, personally.
I enjoy highlighting details in both LR and RC passages and find that the biggest hang up and time killer on the LSAT-Flex is how AWKWARD their system is with highlighting. I wasted precious seconds trying to highlight sentences, clauses, or other details. It lead me to running out of time and guessing on five questions. Frustrating when you know you're ready for the test and the archaic test interface is what ends up hurting you. If you are planning to take a future LSAT, definitely recommend practice with LSAC's practice tests just to be super familiar with their interface.
This was my first LSAT, and I feel just ok about it. I had LR-LG-RC. LR seemed fine, if I missed any questions, it was because of tricky wording or answers that seemed fairly identical. The last logic game was a complete shit show. RC also seemed pretty regular. I feel like I will get a score that is consistent with my PTs. See y'all in November!
How’d everyone feel about that exam? The comparative passage on the reading comp was a bit tricky for me and that last logic game was so annoying
Anyone else getting really stressed about their score? I really was not too worried immediately after, and did not even take the writing immediately. But now I am really stressed by the waiting on the score. I want to have it and know where I stand even though I feel pretty good about it. Unfortunately they still have not processed my writing, but it is so hard for me to focus on application stuff now while stressing about getting my score.
Just finished about 20 minutes ago - LG-RC-LR. Overall, I felt it was better than August's test. I usually PT anywhere between 167-173, and in August I got a 168.
LG: I don't remember the themes of them other than that the last one had something to do with art exhibits. Finished with some time to spare. Overall, pretty easy, I'm putting myself at -0 or -1 at worst.
RC: Book transcriptions, lawyer-client relationships, comparative passage about evolutionary theory, economics of the origins of money. Felt this was fairly reasonable with some difficult questions peppered in here and there. It felt better (I think) than August's RC (the honeybees passage is going to haunt me for the rest of my life) but I can't really estimate how many I got wrong on this tbh
LR: Definitely the hardest section, and also usually my worst section. I remember a question about pollen grains and a question about constitution v government. There was one real nasty question with an insane amount of conditionals that I just couldn't parse through. But other than that question, I think I answered as best as I could. So many answer choices were just complete crap tho, and it was hard to find the best one out of them. Just hoping I didn't get too questions many wrong l o l
Advice to new test-takers: If you took this test for the first time and were freaking out during the test/afterwards, believe me when I tell you that that is completely normal! No matter how prepared we think we are, nerves often play a much bigger role than we account for on test day. I honestly feel like I blacked out during August's exam because of how nervous I was, and I can pretty much guarantee you that it's so much easier the second time around because you're more prepared of what to expect! So don't worry if you're feeling uncertain of your performance the first time - if you end up taking it a second time, just the comfort of already having taken it for reals once will help you feel so much more calm and ready to tackle it. For some reason I couldn’t get my groove on logic games and while I usually go -2 it’s going to be a lot more. I thought RC was also difficult (i had to rush through the last passage) with logical reasoning being the easiest.
I still do not feel good about today and I’m super bummed about it. I thought the reading on privatized / public comparison was extra difficult.
I had my test today. The order was LG-RC-LR.
My exam was delayed due to some technical issues which the proctor could not solve and I had to solve them myself.
Overall, the game section was okay, RC was a bit hard and LR was hard too. I had a lot of "conversation" questions in the LR section which is very unusual. BUT, the biggest problem was that my computer was down twice. The camera light was still on, but the screen went black. I had to restart my computer. I was extremely anxious after all these and my thoughts were interrupted. This did not happen last time when I took the August exam. I am thinking if I should contact LSAC and report this issue.
I took the exam on Sunday but needed to process everything that happened, lol. I took July and August, but I felt like I had a shot to get my goal score as I was finally PT'ing around it. I had LR-RC-LG. LR felt standard. RC I felt like the passages were quite dense but I got through all of them with time to go back and check my flagged questions. LG started out good, all of the games felt standard. But my proctor completely stopped my test because apparently my lighting needed to be adjusted although I didn't touch my lights at all for previous sections. I lost time as my proctor did not stop the clock and beyond that it completely threw me off for the section. I immediately contacted LSAC and the nice woman I spoke to recommended that I get a retake. Has anyone else had issues like this before? How long did it take for y'all to hear back from LSAC regarding your retake? I read about the Proctor U horror stories before but I didn't think that it would happen to me. :(
I had LR - LG - RC. Overall, I am not too happy with my performance, but that is mostly a result of having to guess on roughly 3 questions, timing became an unexpected issue for RC. The number of questions per passage on the RC was unlike most PTs I have taken. Also, I had a very weird sense of "that seemed too obvious" on more than a few LR questions, I'm hoping I didn't look over any inferences and chose trap answers. For LG, I had 14 minutes to spare for the last game. I felt like I had a perfect score on the first 3, but I wouldn't be surprised if I got -2 or -3 as a result of the last one, even with the substantial time I had.
In terms of advise, I would work on eliminating that sense of "doubt". Trust your preparation and don't spend unnecessary time trying to check if you are positive on an answer choice unless you have ample time to do so. Spending too long an one problem in the early part of a section will come back to bite you when you are faced with multiple challenging problems later in the test that require you to make inferences or read long answer choices.
I felt the same way. even though I had 10 minutes to do that last question I blew through it with educated guesses. I found the the rc and lr brutal. Considerably more challenging than any practice test. I'm sure I did fine- but man im glad it is over.

I agree, I wish I left more time for the last game :(
Opinions? I thought the whole test was just ~ok~. I had reading comp passages about Evolution, Lawyer relationships, false transcription, and something else. Nothing particularly scary about logic games, and very average LR. Thoughts?
I agree with what pretty much everyone said about logic games. Usually I have no problem getting through the first three games, and feel a little rushed on the last. This time I couldn't get my head straight and had to guess on 3-4 questions on the last game. I also spent an hour before the exam dealing with ProctorU issues, so my exam was delayed by an hour and I was stressed about being late to work, which probably didn't help.
I just took the test today as LR-LG-RC. RC and LR felt relatively easy, especially the RC, which is usually my weakest section, but I had more than 5 minutes left on the clock in that section and the subject matters were quite easy to follow (comparative passage on sunken ships, environmentalists argument on export and other two). BUT, somehow couldn't get in the right mindset for the LG for the first two games and almost ran out of time :( Here's to hoping that my performance on the other two sections overcompensated for the bad LG section.
I also felt just okay like I was expecting to have either a positive or negative reaction and neither of those happened afterwards lol the most important thing is that I didn't cry and it also was my birthday so maybe my brain was just not letting me go into self deconstruct mode..now I'm just so scared I will be devastated with the results..now to take the writing portion!
My proctor forgot to turn his microphone off, so during first game there was mumbled conversation. I could not tell if he was trying to say something to me or just talking, after a minute of confusion he apologized and muted his mic. Got me confused and stressed and ended up not finishing the LG section. Which really just derailed my whole test, not sure how to feel about that.
Also, did anyone else have their toolbar keep popping up, or was that something my proctor neglected as well?

@venkiiyer1794 Same. I'm registered to take the November LSAT though, so that's the one thing making me wish I knew the score already
Do they not release the number of wrong answers for each section? This was my first time taking the test so not sure how it works for undisclosed tests.
@kirstenclark08106 Did you file an official complaint and retake October? Or did they comp November? I had several issues with my proctor and LSAC has not responded to multiple emails... hoping the lost time and interference doesn't hurt my score too much.
