I am filling out the general scholarship application form for Texas Law and they ask "Please state any special, personal, or family circumstances that affect your need for financial support." This is a required short answer question. Any advice for filling out this question? I am not a first generation student or in any sort of unique circumstance, but I also do not have enough money saved for law school and am trying to avoid serious debt.

I had the same question too, and thought A had to be wrong but chose B because we're generally taught that if the answer choice talks about something not even mentioned in the passage, it is wrong (making it the right answer for this question). I think that this question is just hard because you have to focus on the least right answer. B isn't necessarily compatible with the passage the way other answers are, but it still could possibly be true based on what we read. There is no way A could be true, because it cannot be true if the last sentences of the paragraph are also true.
#help Could C also be wrong because it requires background knowledge that solar radiation increases temperature? Neither the answer choice nor the question say that solar radiation can raise temperatures, so even if the sentence said Earth received more radiation in this century than others, that answer choice would require background knowledge that radiation leads to temperature increases. Without background knowledge on solar radiation, that answer choice would seem to be stating an irrelevant fact.
I have the same question. I think it might be because the question specifically says "members of the public" and the passage says they can only speak when they are applying for the broadcasting license. The inference would be that they are speaking as a potential broadcaster, and not as a member of the public.
