So happy to say that!! I'm feeling really good. My diagnostic was a 153. I've taken about 35 PTs. My last three were all 167s. If I get within +or- 3 of that I'm going to be stoked. 163 is the 75th percentile for my school :)

I'm taking my last one today, but breaking it up into timed sections. I'm very happy with my last two timed PTs and if I score + or - 3 points from those I'm going to be elated. I was going to do a full on PT today but after reading this post, decided to break it up into some timed drill sections. Good luck to all. I just hope I can sleep the night before!!!
Thanks, J.Y. I feel very well prepared, and it's all due to 7Sage! Cheers :)
I wouldn't base anything off one bad PT. I know 72 has a bad reputation but I breezed through 72 and 73 killed me. 166 on 72 160 on 73 and 167 on 74. The part that was scary was I felt like I did very well on 73, but I bombed one of the LR sections hard. Anyway, don't let one bad PT discourage you. To me 73 was the hardest of the 70s. I know many will disagree but depends on the person. Good luck to you!
Hi, all. Wondering if anyone with a less the angelic past has undergone the moral character determination and come out on top. I'm not a hardened criminal by any means, but I was a bit rough as a teen/young adult. Misdemeanor as a juvenile and one as an adult. I'm old (40 now) and have been a Marine on active duty for 17 years. This stuff is long in my past, but after doing some research it is all about to get dug up again. I've read on the CA and AZ bar pages about their standards, and it seems like i'll be okay. They put a lot of weight on the time that passed between the incident and now, as well as what you've done since. I'm just curious to hear from others if they've had any problems or pointers. I know full disclosure on both the law school app and bar app is paramount. Thanks ;)
So I just completed the course and took my first time LSAT, PT36. It had four multiple choice sections and then the written. So, basically, no experimental section. Is that just luck of the draw or do certain years not have the experimental sections? Also, is the same test given during all four times of the year or is there the chance that the Feb 2015 had an experimental section and the October or December will not? Thanks ;)
It's not too late. I seemed to be hovering in the low 160s and I've been drilling LG hard last week since that was my weakest spot. Well, I knocked out two 167s this week, one of them being PT74 this morning! LG finally feels like its clicking with me. My point is use this last week to focus on weaknesses. You can improve in a week. I just did it!
I'm attaching everything to my application as an addendum to my PS. If this doesn't show how much I'm willing to dedicate myself, nothing will!
I started studying in February (Taking the October test, fees paid ;) I've completed all of the course material and now am working through the PTs from oldest to most recent. My average on my PTs is 163 which I'm okay with. 153 on my first diagnostic. I've taken 11 PTs now so It's a pretty solid average I believe (159 worst -166 best). My question is for those who have taken a recent test... I've heard that the tests are changing, especially the logic games with the reintroduction of maps, circles etc., Has anyone taken a recent test that can compare it to tests in the 50-60 range? I'm confident in my abilities as long as they haven't gone and introduced something crazy that my fundamentals haven't prepared me for. I'm saving the 70s tests for the last two weeks. Just trying to get some insight into what lies ahead ;) Cheers
I made the assumption that this post was going to discuss people's body odor in the testing room! LOL Take a break!
So happy right now!! Diagnostic was a 153. Did about 35 PTs and LG bundle twice. Average PT was 163 but my last three before test day were 167s. The LG practice helped. My goal was to break 160. I got a 165!!!! So grateful for 7sage and all the wonderful people here. JY you're the man!! Cheers all
I'm hoping for the 25th in the U.S. I'm in Japan, so they'd show up my Monday morning. My Monday's aren't usually great, so hoping that will be a nice pick me up to start the week..
LOL @ I took the October test, but I do not plan on starting school until fall of 2018 due to me finishing my military career first. I've worked that into my PS as a way of showing that this is something I've wanted for many years. I.E I took the LSAT years ago, because I knew this is something I wanted to do, and here I am now ready to go basically. (worded much better than that of course...)
Thanks @! I woke up this morning and drilled some LR and did well so that picked me back up. I'm going to be doing 3 more PTs before game day, PT 74 next Saturday. Hoping to see my score back up to my average. Good luck again to all!
Rough PT today. Last 4 PTs were 164, 164, 167, 164. Today I did 73 and got a 160. I got my average on 3 of the sections but bombed the first LR (-9). Then when I did my blind review I got 5 of them but there were still 4 in that section that I just don't get. Will be watching the videos. Just letting it go for today. My goal is to break 160 so this isn't the end of the world. Just depressing to see that score after averaging higher and I truly thought I did very well on that section....
@ I'm a veteran as well and found this list on TLS of all the schools that offer fee waivers for vets. Hope it's accurate ;) I didn't realize there was a $30 fee per school payable to LSAC. I was going to apply to all of the free ones, but I'll definitely narrow this list way down now...
Schools that waive application fees for Vets' (not all inclusive):
Lewis and Clark
ASU
Buffalo
Cincinnati
Colorado
Denver
UCONN
FIU
Hawaii
Notre Dame
Tulane
Richmond
Widener
William and Mary

@ I don't think Phoenix sucks. Its just not one of the nicer cities in Arizona. I personally like the Gilbert/Chandler areas to live. They've got a gang/drug problem in Phoenix but I believe that's more on the outskirts of Phoenix. The campus is downtown which is where all the action is. I'm old and hate traffic. I also have a 10 year old son, so living near a great school for him with as low of crime rate as possible is what's important to me. That's why I personally wouldn't want to live in Phoenix. Hearing that you're from New York, Phoenix is probably like Mister Roger's neighborhood compared to what you're used to. LOL I've spent the last 5 years living in Okinawa, Japan, so every city in America seems like it could be on an episode of gangland undercover compared to this place. I guess lastly, It's still the school I believe I am going to attend so none of the factors about Phoenix I mentioned are a big enough deterrent to sway me away... Cheers
ASU is the school I'm targeting. I'm an AZ resident. I toured the campus in February. The brand new campus in downtown Phoenix is set to open fall of 2016. It looks amazing. I've never lived in Phoenix but I know it's not one of the nicer cities. They just put in a new mass transit monorail system, which I'm sure will drop you off close to the school, facilitating the ability to live in a nicer area and not have to deal with the traffic. Good luck to you!
So I just registered and paid my fees for the October test! I'm active duty military stationed in Okinawa. Any other 7Sagers out in Okinawa looking to take the test? One concern I had was whether or not different weight was given to test location. I'll be taking the test on base with a DoD proctor. Anyone have experience with how nonpublished test centers are viewed by schools or if they even know where you took the test? I called ASU which is where I'm hoping to attend. They said they'd never been asked that question so perhaps that isn't revealed...
Thanks :)
Great video! Thanks for sharing. Made a nice break from studying :)
Good luck all. It's getting close, and I'm actually looking forward to it! LOL Can't wait to see how much I improve. 153 diagnostic and last four PTs have been 164, 164, 167, 164. (Goal is to break 160) I'm hoping everyone does a post after about where they started, how long they studied, what their latest PTs were, and then their final score. I think that would be an interesting read. Cheers!
My money is on the 26th. I just say that because several of the "expert" blogs are predicting that. If I just knew how I did on the real LG I'd be happy. Feeling pretty good about RC and both LRs. I took it in Asia though so different test than most others. Two more weeks :)
Anyone ever done this? I'm taking the October test here in Okinawa on a military base. The good part is I think i'm the only taker, so it will just be me and the proctor. I'm just hoping the test isn't crazy. From what i've read on other forums it sounds like I'll probably be taking a nondisclosed test from a prior year. Curious as to the process afterwards for anyone that's done this. Do the scores get released at the same time for those taking overseas and nondisclosed?
Thanks!
LOL Thanks! @.hopkins What is it that people are looking at when they say "we've gone grey" pertaining to scores about to be released... I'm hoping they don't mean their hair from stress @.@ I saw on LSAC under LSAT Status it shows where your score and writing sample etc., will appear. Is there something on that page that turns grey?
:)
Hi all, I took a non disclosed test in Asia and the proctor told me they have to mail it to LSAC. Is there any way in our LSAC accounts to tell that they have received our test back from the test site and that it's pending score release? Out mail system sucks here so as if I didn't have enough stress, now I'm hoping the mailman doesn't lose it. LOL
So who has committed to the October test? How ready do you feel you are? I've paid my fees and I'm locked in. I'm consistently getting the PT score I'd be happy with on the real thing (17 tests done so far). I'm just hoping I'm able to duplicate my practice results on game day. Good luck to all!
Anyone here take the test in Asia? Based on what I've read everyone in Asia had the same test and it appears we were given the identical test given Dec 2012 in Asia. The RC and one of the LG games is definitely the same as Dec 2012. Everyone has 2 LGs and trying to sort which is the experimental.
@, yup checked on TLS and found 3 who took the same test based on same RC topics, but we all had LG experimental @.@ Killed the first LG before break. Think -0 Then 2nd LG my brain twisted. I'm betting that second one was real. My goal was to break 160 and i'm estimating my raw score to be 77-84 depending on which LG was real. I think that should get me over 160 based on what I've been looking at in past years. Time to start drinking now LOL
Just took the nondisclosed test overseas. Had LG as experimental. Trying to sort which games was real. Anyone else take nondisclosed version? Thanks :)
@ how was the Asia test for you? @ How was the test in England? I've been reading on TLS and it's interesting to hear the different views. With the exception of Game 3 on LG they all seem to be very happy with the U.S. Test.
Thanks, @ ! I'm not sure i'll look exactly like that the day of, but it's what I'm working towards ~.~
Didn't feel like making a photobucket account so I just changed my Gravatar! You guys think the stache is too much?
LOL Thanks. I'm at work and our network blocks photobucket. I'll get r' dun at lunch ;)
I'm going to glamour shots and getting a full styling, and maybe some glitter sprinkled on. I'm not holding back anything!!!
