I get the explanation why E isn't correct, but is that really enough to complete eliminate it? I feel like the author showed more enthusiasm about the future he envisions than the social messages.

Can someone elaborate on why E is wrong?

Ok this one was hard.

I don't think I still understand why that is the best answer out of all.

If you got this right, how did you come to this conclusion?

This is an interesting questions. It seems more complicated than it is. (Don't worry I got this wrong too)

I was between C and B, but it wasn't until I dissected the stimulus that I then understood what was the correct answer. They worded this weirdly.

There are two separate ideas that obviously are related.

Broken down:

First premise: So first it says powerful people like new technologies because it benefits them (reasons list don't matter, ignore those). They (powerful people) like them ( new technologies ) because they benefit them, that's all you need to know.

Second premise: Powerful people don't like new ethical ideas, because it doesn't benefit them (threatens them)

Author's Conclusion from this: Those who create new technology benefit. BUT those who create new ethical ideas don't.

So what will make this statement stronger (author's conclusion)?

Well saying" powerful people reward those who make new technology (brings them benefits) and don't reward those who make come up with new ethical ideas (brings them pain)" makes it strong

Which is our answer.

This answer brings the idea of what power people believe and the author's conclusion thus, making it stronger.

Hope this helps. This is how I understood it.

Testing anxiety

I am hoping someone else has or is experiencing this and could give some tips.

I have taken the LSAT twice and there has only been a ten point difference. Both times I have had a an anxiety attack.

I am preparing to retake it again in April, but I can’t sit down and study without being distracted or feeling anxious.

I am working on getting an accommodation before the exam, but in the meantime are there any tips so that I sit and study without feeling so anxious !??

I have never had this problem and kind of feeling defeated.

My exact thought process!! Sometimes we overthink with these questions and they get us! It's hard not to make arguments for some questions. I try to get in their mindset when I am in between questions 🤔. Are they really making this simple?
