Why is flaw lesson so damn longgggg

Please Help! I am SOOOO confused..

if it’s an either/or rule, why can’t it also be A—> /B ?? Why does it HAVE to be /A—>B??

For example, if its either A or B (not both), wouldn’t the rule imply BOTH A /B (bi-conditional) AND /A B (also bi-cond) ??

Where am I going wrong? 😭
