Recommended for BR

What does it mean when you finish a drill and it says recommended for BR? I just did an RC drill and it recommended 3 questions for BR even though I had gotten all the questions correct initially. This made me think that my original answer was incorrect and so I searched for another answer even though what I had originally put down was correct. I am wondering how these questions are flagged as recommended for BR?

I was stuck between D and E.

Initially I picked E because I thought... just because they are already efficient and don't need the time management seminar doesn't mean that those that are not already efficient wont benefit from the seminar. I am still unsure why this reasoning does not hold up for this answer choice #help I really struggle with questions where the distinction between 2 ACs is very subtle, any tips?

I understand why D is a stronger AC, because the stimulus says the recommendation is to make the seminar available (not to make it mandatory for everyone), which means that those who are already efficient and don't need the seminar are not required to attend.

Could you modify D to be "takes for granted that..." and it would be correct?

For Q24, I didn't pick E because I was thinking that if a big issue with internal relations makes it impossible to acquire knowledge then the analytic method (which is the alternative) makes it possible to acquire knowledge which I deemed to be an advantage, but I see how this is a stretch

Question 19: I got rid of E Both authors consider the problems that the Roma face in relation to international law to be anomalous and special

My thought process was this (1) Passage B doesn't talk about international law (I assumed that the definition was something coming from a scholar) and (2) Passage A says that it poses an issue for many minority groups, and so we don't know that the author of passage A would consider the Roma to be anomalous/ special case.

Now I realize that (1) Passage B is implicitly discussing international law because it is talking about legal matters between multiple countries, (2) Passage A implies that the Roma are anomalous/ special because the lack of universal definitions is particularly problematic for the Roma, and Passage B focuses on the Roma when discussing problems with the criteria for establishing a minority - showing how this population is distinctive in ways that don't allow them to meet the criteria. Also the fact that the Roma cross borders between European states implies that international law is applicable to the passage.

I understand why all the other answer choices are incorrect and that E is the best out of the options presented but I got tripped up by the reasoning I used and fell for a trap answer.

Initially I picked E for Q8, but then realized it was too strong, we don't know what significant number of mathematicians look like - in the passage it is not stated that most mathematicians have their reservations it says some do, so we dont know that it is necessary for a mathematical theory to support a system of theorems and proofs to gain enthusiastic support. D is correct because the mathematical theory was developed and applications were thought of before exact definitions. I was put off by D initially because I thought that it was saying it has explicit applications currently which I was not sure was supported by the text but it is just saying "find applications".

I automatically eliminated D as an option because I was like well D seems to be prescriptive while the stimulus is purely descriptive so I was like that must not be the answer... I can see why it is correct but when should I use that as a rule of thumb?

I confidently chose E because I thought that Davis would disagree and that Higuchi would agree that it should be done on a case-by-case basis based on the amount of time someone is deprived of their property... After seeing the explanation, I can see how they are both actually advocating for a general rule: Davis is compensation should depend on value, Higuchi is saying its value+ time. The general rule would mean that the amount of compensation may vary on a case-by-case basis but the way of determining compensation does not vary, instead is determined by the general rule. I need to be more careful about interpreting vague terms like "case-by-case" as someone else mentioned in the comments.

C is correct because Davis would disagree with this, he thinks that compensation should be determined solely based on the value the property loses - so he wouldn't say that you should consider time as a factor when determining compensation. Higuchi would agree with this because he thinks time should be considered as a factor when determining compensation.
