Hey guys,
I know it's a bit early to ask but I was wondering if anyone knows when the September test will be available as a PT on 7sage?
Thanks!
November 1st - just saw J.Y.'s message.
You guys are amazing!

Yep it might happen - maybe an issue with the testing place? Call LSAC just to make sure, their number is 215.968.1001.
Hi guys,
Just wanted to let you know that registration is now open for the following dates:
- September 2014
- December 2014
- February 2015
For those who are taking the June test and wish to postpone, please note that you only have 7 days to do so since the deadline is May 25 (at least in Europe).
Hi Jordan - I emailed lsac and they said that registration for September will be open before the deadline for changing June date is reached. I have read on a few blogs that the window will be short though - like they might open the September date on May 20 and the deadline will be May 25. Check their website everyday, that's what I am doing.
Hey there - so just to answer a few of your questions, here are my suggestions:
- Best way to get better logic games - do the games over and over, over and over until you get all the questions right in a game. I think this has been the most efficient method for me and it's J.Y's recommendation as well.
- RC is always the hardest section for me to be honest. I cannot say what the trend has been for the past year but I have never seen a RC section as easy as a LG section for example. RC have usually 27 questions so you should capitalize on that to grab extra points.
- I see that you scored 22 on one LR section. That's great. Do you see a pattern in questions you get wrong? Type of questions? Focus on those if you can to make sure that you get the process right.
There is still time for you to get better but I would say that you need to have scored 160 more than once to be able to reproduce it on test day. Maybe you would benefit from a few extra months to practice and take it in September.
Do you have a mac or a pc? What browser? What type of device? I'm on a macbook and chrome works really well for me except for some pdf who do not appear in my browser
What are your problems? Don't quit now, tell us about it!
You are totally right. I postpone taking the LSAT myself when I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, as I realized that you need to be 100% focused and prepared. Best of luck for everything!
Yes definitely - translate, translate, translate and practice until you get the translation right. I will definitely help you see the "missing link" in NA.
Hi there - I would recommend doing untimed LR sections so that you get the technique right first and then worry about speed. I would recommend that you still do prep tests and study RC/LG because you make your strong sections even stronger. What type of questions do you struggle with on LR?
Can you give us an example for a question you struggled with? And talk us through your process to find the right answer?
Thanks Alan - this will definitely be helpful when the time for applications comes.
Good luck mzsheribaby2983! I've withdrawn in the past and did not regret my decision. You have to be ready and as comfortable as possible for that test.
Hi mzsheribaby2983 - do you mind me asking what is your average score right now? What are your weaknesses? strengths?
Hum I have never encountered this problem and I am currently using the sequencing/grouping games videos. What browser are you using? I know that for instance the PDFs never show in my browser (I use Chrome) and some videos are very slow on Firefox.
My videos are fine. Have you tried closing your brower and re-opening it? Which videos are freezing?
Haha that might be a good way to release stress, as long as I don't burst out laughing and disrupt other students. I have giggled once or twice at questions on the LSAT, some are just so weird.
I think this question was asked earlier in the discussion forum, people noticed that JY was not answering and he eventually answered explaining that he does not always answer because he likes the "spirit of community" of this website, that is to say other people can help you out. If your questions is about a difficulty encountered with LSAT sections, then you might want to ask it in the discussion forum. If you are encountering a technical issue or need tutoring, email JY directly.
Hi there - I was experiencing the same problem when I first started studying with the LSAT. Economic passages were the main problem for me but for Art I would strongly encourage you to take a look at the entertainment/culture section in the New York Post - they have well written and dense passages similar to the LSAT.
Yes I work in London ("Mary Poppins" London, not in Canada) and planning to apply to American law schools. I do not know that many law students here but I believe that no equivalent of the LSAT is necessary to get into law school here. Can you imagine?! Lucky Brits.
So jealous! Why do I have to be in London? Hope you guys enjoyed it and did logic games for fun!
I took the test in February and it was the worse experience ever (proctor called the time early for two sections, took our watches away!). I am not implying it is because it was the February test but I know I will never take it in February ever again.
