The same is true here:
/(policy of freedom of speech) → government responds to dangerous ideas irrationally
/(government responds to dangerous ideas irrationally) → policy of freedom of speech
is the correct answer. Yet this doesn't make sense. If the government doesn't respond to dangerous ideas irrationally, that doens't mean that there's a policy of freedom of speech. It could be there are numerous factors that would make the government respond this way.
Are we supposed to extrapolate that these ideas in the prompt have a singular cause and effect relationship with each other? If so, thats not clear.
For question 1, the answer is listed as:
/(physical exercise) → health deteriorates
/(health deteriorates) → physical exercise
But this clearly not true. We know there are many things that could cause one to remain in good health.
I'm unclear to what extent you are supposed to apply common sense and extrapolate that there could be many causes of something. It seems like, particularly in the reading comprehension section, you are often supposed to spot that statements like this are illogical.
does anyone else find these lessons that explain that if you say "only" it is a necessary condition to be bizarrely basic?
the judge one is confusing to me.
The answer includes that if there isn't a good legal system, then it must be there are not independent judges.
Does this mean that we extrapolate from the premise that the independence of judges is the ONLY factor that impacts the goodness of the legal system?
It's super crappy that questions from the free test are recycled in the paid content!
yeah but the fact that there were traditional languages to study in the first place is a proof point. I honestly think this question is wrong lol.
I got the correct answer here, but feel the explanations for the incorrect ones are very poor.
Regional customs could in fact encompass how much of a role women have within the home
Artistic expression is a tempting answer because when they say "how is women's culture expressed" it could be read to be asking about how it was written about in the original tier of authors.
Felt like I got very little out of the explanation video here.
