I think it depends on a few things: Is a 157 what you're aiming for? If that's the case and you are continuously hitting your goal, than I would just continue taking prep tests (with blind review/explanation vids). If you are wanting something in the 160s, I would continue with the lessons. You can still learn a lot of new info in 6 weeks. I think my advice would be to study the lesson material and work on practice drills Mon-Fri, and then take a full length practice exam on both Saturday and Sunday. You'll get a little bit more lesson info, and you'll go into the exam with 12 more completed practice exams under your belt.

Fee Waiver for Prep Plus

So, I paid for Prep Plus out of pocket last July. I was approved for the LSAC fee waiver that also covers a year of Prep Plus this past February. Obviously since I had a current Prep Plus subscription in effect, I didn't get to take advantage of activating my free subscription. My year subscription end date is coming up next week. Since I wasn't able to ever get the free year, will LSAC cover this upcoming subscription with my fee waiver approval on file? I sent LSAC an email a few days ago and never received a response.

I know that Prep Plus is changing names next month, but I don't think that will be relevant.

I've been studying for a year and have literally never heard of Powerscore Crystal Ball. I'm taking the exam tomorrow. Is this even worth looking up or should I just spare myself the stress?

Color Coding Passages

When working through an RC passage, do you place an emphasis on the color of the highlighter you use when you're highlighting certain pieces of information? For example, do you always highlight the author's opinion, purpose of passage, opposing views, ect in different colors so you can tell them apart quicker? One of my biggest weaknesses in RC is spending a large amount of time going back and re-reading the passage to find certain information needed to answer a question. I think things would be faster if I came up with a color system where I could quickly go "okay, I'm looking for author's purpose. I highlighted that in pink. Here it is." Anyone do this? Which parts to you think is the most important to highlight?

(I haven't gotten to the RC modules yet, so my bad if this is a topic that is already discussed.)

OH. MY. GOD.......7 months. SEVEN MONTHS I have been watching these lessons. I have consistently said, "Jesus, why does he talk SO fast?!" I just realized I've had my playback speed set at x2.0 this whole time! I always thought that he must chug a pre-workout or something before filming these, but turns out he actually talks at a normal speed!

I guess I took "The LSAT is hard," and thought to myself, "well, let me make it harder!"

I've always been the type of person who spends a ridiculous amount of time creating beautiful & detailed ipad notes. It's been proven that hand-writing notes helps with long-term retention of the information, but it's a huge time-suck and honestly causes quick burnout. How does everyone take notes? How often do you go back and re-visit your notes?

Due to the Supreme Court's decision this summer, this is no longer accurate at all. Colleges no longer have access to race demographics before admitting a student, and we will not know how that will play out differently for URMs until this upcoming cycle is completed.
