Pacing myself is the hardest part because I like to digest questions fully but the LSAT does not give you that liberty with the time constraints. I think that was what really hurt me on my first exam. I gotta get faster!
I just scored a 145 on a practice test and thought I would score much higher. It reminded me of the time I was at a block party, and they had one of those "how hard can you throw a baseball" machines. I wound up and threw the ball so hard that I thought I had to have thrown at least 80mph. It came up as 63mph.
My goal score is a 165. How many months of dedicated studying of 2-4 hours per day with one day off per week will this jump in score take?
I'm in my mid 30's and have an interest in switching into law. I am currently a speech therapist working with moderate-severe brain injuries. Watching these individuals fight all day and empowering them to live their lives has been the best driver for me. I want to advocate for these clients to receive comprehensive and holistic care in a fair and dignified manner.
Hi everyone! I am so glad be here with you all. I graduated back in 2022 with BA in Sociology. Therefore, I am entirely new to this, pursuing law. I once believed I wanted to become a social worker- until I didn't. However, Law has always been a dream for me, a dream I thought was going to be just that- a dream and that's all it will ever be. For the longest time, I thought I just was not smart enough. I am here to change that, ready to give it my best shot! Let's do this!
The LSAT is hard. The only thing that makes me overthink it is the fact that I moved to the U.S. at 14 and English is not my first language. Anyone with a similar situation?
