Giving a year to study is a much more realistic goal than what I've seen from others.

With a 137, I would spend a CONSIDERABLE amount of time learning the fundamentals of grammar & logic before moving into the LSAT-specific stuff.

I started at a 150, but it is STILL the bane of the LSAT. Having a solid grasp of the grammar/logic will pay amazing dividends in the future.

Yo, if DFW stands for "the best metroplex in TX" whatsaa duude. If not, whatevs.

Anyway, I'm putting 15-20 hours a week and killing the causation-phenomenon MFs right now. Let's do this fam HMU.

Ahaha damn, I didn't even think of that but did used to live out by Austin! Stoked to have someone from the Longhorn state.

We'll be getting things going next week, to give ppl a little bit longer to reach out. Look out for a msg sometime next week my guy.

I'm down! I have a similar schedule. I'm redoing the CC after a 8 month break from studying. I'm still at LR/Lawgic but I'm doing ~30-35 hours a week.

I'm going to keep the post up to let a few more ppl possibly trickle-in. Keep your eyes peeled for a message next week, we will likely be reaching out to everyone who was interested and get things going.

I have a contention with B and would appreciate if someone could explain how I'm wrong.

Many ppl are justifying B on the basis that a "decline in quality of recent books" is an alternative explanation for why there are fewer of these books published overall. However, I didn't choose B because of how I understood the term "recent" to play into the overall argument.

Even if we take this to be true, this does not mean that, in absolute terms, the number of books believed to have intrinsic value has gone down. All of the books which they believed to have intrinsic value prior to these "recent years" of poor quality still exist. I see this as only explaining that the rate of new books to publish has gone down... but I don't see how this explains an absolute drop in the number of such books being published.

As an example to what I mean - imagine that you say music publishers are more concerned about profits today because the number of indie songs they publish today has gone down. I counter this by saying that it's actually because the number of quality indie songs made has gone down in the last few years... but that doesn't explain why there are fewer indie songs on spotify today than there were previously. Just because indie songs today aren't as good wouldn't explain why a publisher is removing old indie classics, like Wheezer songs or something.

Hi there!

I am looking to start a group to of ppl going through 7Sage curriculum to bounce ideas & troubleshoot off of one another. We'd be looking to set up a group early next-week if you're interested! Personally, I would be looking at a similar schedule, except doing less Mon-Fri and offsetting it for a few hours added to Sat.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or are interested! Hope to hear from you.

Man, having seen a post you made about LR in the C.C. over 4 years ago, and still coming back here with the same issue is really scaring me. I'm three months in to studying & IDEK what I'd do in your situation in terms of staying motivated.

For the amount of money you must have dumped into 7Sage, maybe it's time to get in touch with a Tutor for help? It sounds like your weakness is VERY deeply ingrained into your methodology & way of thinking, to the point where you need someone else to have a really good look at what you're doing (more than what can be done over messages on 7sage forum).

Best of luck! Loophole by Ellen Cassidy is another resource you might wanna try for L.R. but seriously recommend you get someone in to pinpoint your issue for you.

Core Curriculum Study buddy. (EST time)

Hi all,

Would anyone be interested in an accountability buddy to work through the core curriculum (and beyond)? I was hoping to put together a group which we can check in on and see where everyone is at & post questions for general help within the curriculum.

We wouldn't even need to be at the same place within the C.C., but for context I am just about to begin the section on Logic. Putting in about ~30hrs a week, Mon-Sat, hoping to start more full-time PT'ing by July.

The plan will be to offer a daily check-in Mon-Fri to see where everyone is & to share my experiences as things go along. Perhaps an opportunity for a weekly recap on Saturdays w/ possible Happy Hour to talk shop about LSAT & Law.

I'll reply to this thread once we have enough ppl to close it!

Happy Studying!

D.F.W.

It is not integrated into the 7sage testing format.

This isn't the best workaround, but you can do your own section in a booklet or off of the LSAC prep. That'd make it quasi-experimental in that you're taking a 5th section.
