How do you guys propose doing this kind of warm up strategy on test day? How easy/stressful is it to bring a couple of sections into the testing center to look over and do before going into the testing room?

Hi guys,

I am indeed aiming for the September test. Right now, I am only finishing the first three games and first three RC sections. I usually don't miss any on games on those 3 sections I complete, I need to build speed to finish the last game though. If I miss something it would be just one. On the three RC sections I get through I don't miss many either. Maybe 1-2. On the LR, I usually finish the q's just in time an average of four to five wrong. This is all under timed conditions, with more time of course I am more accurate.

I took at PT recently and got a 162. By September I am aiming for a 167. Given the time I have left and where I am at now, what would be your guidance on a good study routine in terms of hours, drills, and tests?

@ thank you! Would answer choice D be the sufficient assumption answer choice in that question?

Can someone point me to LSAT LR q's that are either necessary or sufficient questions types that list BOTH a necessary and sufficient answer choice?

I want to test my ability to distinguish between the two but am having a hard time finding the tricky q's that list both in the same question

What is your daily study schedule ?

Hi guys,

What is your opinion on the optimal daily study schedule from now until the September LSAT? How many LR, RC, and LG sections per day and how many prep tests per week? Of course, review of the sections should be added into the daily schedule as well.

Hi guys,

I need some advice on the best and most effective way to study from now until the December exam. I just took the September exam. I know I will not be getting my ideal score. I didn't finish a section, and rushed two other sections...and this has never happened to me in the last month of PT'ing. So I want to take the December exam and execute my skills much better.

In giving your advice, can you tell me if you think its a good idea to take a break? I have not started studying again since the Sept 16 test day. I don't want to lose my skills I worked so hard to nail down. I am thinking to start up again tomorrow.

My other concerns are...not having enough new material. I have done PT 70-81, and I've definitely practiced a lot in the 60's so those PT's aren't completely new/blank for me either. I figure I will just start with the 60's anyways since its been a while since I've looked it them. Then next month the later 70-81 PT set should feel less familiar and I can do them over again...

I will also do targeted drills. I plan to start doing at least one RC section a day because that's one of the sections I felt really rushed on this test.

Any thoughts on this topic would be appreciated!!

Application Supplements

Hi guys,

Can someone give me a complete outline of all the typical supplements required or optional for the T20 schools?

So far I know...

  • Yale 250 essay
  • Georgetown: essay, video, picture etc
  • But I am sure there are more. Also, when are the applications accessible on LSAC?

    Thank you!

I understand why the other answer choices are incorrect, but I am still having trouble understanding why E is correct.

The video discusses how the intervention does not need to be in the form of preserving forests. The intervention could just be solely policy related. The intervention could be a donation of fruit to the monkeys....So, why must E be true? Why is it true that if the conservationists do not intervene then the forests will not be saved? The conservationists don't necessarily have anything to do with forests as the video mentions.

I think these explanation videos don't go far enough in explaining why the correct answer choice is correct sometimes. it is disappointing.

Can someone help me out with the way I am understanding D?

D refers to a "most group" while the stimulus seems to refer to a "some group". D says MOST of the viewers surveyed immediately prior to the debate. The stimulus just says "viewers" surveyed immediately after. When I read this answer choice I eliminated because the "viewers" surveyed after the debate could be some group entirely separate from the MOST group surveyed before the debate. So we couldn't be sure the groups overlap.

Along similar lines to what iiiSpoon was thinking, the first thing I thought of during this questions was the yogurt-milk-advertisement question from prep test 73 section 2 question 22. I was struggling between B and E, because B seems a little off as it includes "sciences" and not just chemistry....but the sciences does include chemistry....E was hard to choose because it requires us to assume that dampened intellectual appeal will cause students to change majors. I chose B because I thought it was similar reasoning to the yogurt question. If something is declining in general it helps to explain a decline in a particular instance. Why did that reasoning work for the yogurt q and not for this question?!

    Washington D.C. Proctored PT

    Hi guys,

I would love to organize a "proctored PT" in the DC area. We can choose a location, day and time, and take a PT together. Everyone can bring their own PT so we don't have to worry about choosing one that is new for everyone.

I am taking the test at American University of Law. They usually have some open classrooms. We could do it there! Or at a library in DC.

Let me know who is up for this! I am thinking maybe this Tuesday but the day and time is flexible !

Thank you!! He looks amazing. I hope he has some availability.
