#help

I was between A and B, but I unforntunately chose A. I understand why A is incorrect now, but I have a question that is more general for learning from questions. How do I take what I have learned from this question, and apply it to future questions I may come across? Like, would I keep an eye out for any more contrapositives I comes across in MSS questions?

This might seem like a dumb question, but I just haven't seen as much improvment as I would like when studying. I'm just trying to figure out what exactly I am doing wrong, and what I need to do to utilize every question and study session. I will take any advice that others are willing to share!

It seems like I'm not recognizing any patterns, and am sometimes struggling to really understand whatt the question is asking.

How to Go Over RC Passages

I'm struggling in RC. It's my worst section, and I'm obviously trying to improve. I feel like going through the stories untimed doesn't exactly help me. I end up taking my time, finding the right answer, and say of course this was it. I feel like honing in on my reading speed is what will get me there. Does anyone have any advice on what worked for them to improve their RC section?

Thanks!

I answered B. Here is my thinking...

If the coin was minted in 1422, and was mentioned in the play, this could mean that the year could be for example 1428. [or any year before 1431]. The explanation wasn't super helpful for me on this question.

Why is E correct?

What to do if you are not seeing improvement?

Hello,

I figured I should write this to get a feel for what I'm doing wrong. I have been taking practice sections for LR, and have been stuck in the -8 to -11 range. Terrible, I know. I have been blind reviewing and I will maybe see the light on some of them, but others I stick with the answer I chose. I feel like I can't make certain connections with the arguments I'm seeing and I'm not entirely sure how to fix it.

After the explanation videos I have a clearer understanding of the argument and why the correct answer is correct, but I do another practice section and the same thing happens. I have been missing the questions that are at the 158 curve and above.

Is there something different I can be doing?

Thanks for any advice.

Missing a question of this difficulty after studying for awhile is always humbling...

How to Learn From Your Missed Questions

Hello,

I just wanted to post this to see how other people are learning from their missed questions. As I was looking over some missed questions and seeing why the correct answer is correct, it struck me that I don't have a very good system for learning from my missed questions and remembering my mistakes. I've been blind reviewing of course, and then I will write out my thinking in the "explanation note" box. How are others keeping in mind the mistakes they've made, and carrying it over to similar questions? This is mainly for LR.

Thanks!
