I was planning to start my negotiations this week. Is the typical person to send them to the dean of admissions at the particular law schools or someone else. Also is email the method of choice or is sending in a formal letter?

Do I have time to filter back through the course material, would that be recommended. Should I be Pt'ing, with BR. Should I go back to FP Logic Games. I'm just stuck :cold_sweat:
The testing conditions were a little rough, but I normally am hyper focused! My LG is normally a -8. I can typically Ace RC. But LR is so inconsistent with me, I really struggle with assumptions/Strength/Weak ?'s. It seems I miss those more than any other question stem. Khan Academy Prep Test even solidified that information for me today, when scoping out that resource. What are you referencing when you say the trainer? I've always noticed people saying that, am I missing something huge? Is that just the ? bank?
Thanks for the tips and bit of motivation. I feel like I can totally achieve my PT just frustrated that after two tests, it seems apparent I am lacking some foundational or key components of the test.
I am super perplexed on where to go from here, my goal admission is for the 2019 Fall Cycle. After a year of studying and Pt'ing in the Low 160's, I finally bulked up the courage to take the September LSAT after a debacle of a December 2017 score and fell 8 points shorter of my avg. at a 152 and hold a 3.6 GPA. I went -8 on RC (normally -1/-2, the first passage did me over), -8/-13 on LR, and -11 on LG (struggled to concentrate here as the guy next to me was being removed from the LSAT Testing Center). I foolproofed LG 1-20 and PT'ed 56-75 using other sections from 1-20 as my fifth. I went through Kaplan worst decision ever and then moved over to 7Sage for the past 9 months. I am a full time elementary school teacher and know I can get into most of my desired schools with a potential 75-80% scholarship if I hit a 161 and some full rides. I just truly don't know what would be a good starting point to pick back up and if even bumping up a score by 8 points by November is even possible. I am really stuck and don't know if to roll with the punches and see how ED apps go or to retake and post-pone applications for a few months. I am petrified that my score would fluctuate again putting me in worse shoes than I already am. HELP :D

Some art erases, the big white block ones come in a sleeve. Take the eraser out of the sleeve. Here’s an example. My students couldn’t have them when they took standardized tests.

I am only a tad bit into the 1-35 bundle, my wife and I moved on a whim during my prime post CC period, but what I find helpful that I actually used a lot while teaching is sheet protectors.
I put the game in the sheet protector and write on it with a fine tip expo marker. This allows me to erase the board when I’m done, but still have the same piece of paper. I used to use this method a lot when I did stations in my classroom, to save time at the copy machine and paper. Obviously it stinks not using a pencil, but for me my fool proofing is not about real testing conditions but truly mastering the games presented to me. It also allows me to not have to carry copious amounts of paper with me wherever I amamos rushing nor have a pile of games on my desk.
I also normally have two sheet protectors out side by side so I am not flipping one over constantly or taking a picture of my main game board to reference back too. I hope this helps you, it’s been a tree saver and a life saver for me.
I have been reading some posts on the LSAT Reddit that are saying the July will be undisclosed, unfortunately! (Maybe it will be, would like to see official word from the LSAC)
But this is big news, It seems to me as if the LSAC is making moves to stay in the forefront of the testing world for law school/ combat the frequency of the GRE being offered.
Before taking my December LSAT I feel as if I reviewed all of the PT's I took wrong and didn't learn from my mistakes at all. Now that I have BR what is a good strategy to review the remainder of the PT? My diagnostic test after some time of from December was a 156/ 162 BR'ed . MY LR IS ATROCIOUS!!! RC I went -0 and LG -5 need I say more about how bad my LR is! Really looking for help on what steps to take to review before digging more into J.Y.'s materials. Also looking for ways to increase my logical reasoning section in general. Thanks!
What a wonderful question and great break from studying to go through this post! Law truly never crossed my radar until recent months, even after growing up with my wonderful father who practices Bankruptcy and Real Estate Law for a living. **I went into college with two goals in mind, find a career where I can be an integral part in change and help people to find success in their individual worlds. ** So going in I thought oh my goodness the medical profession is for me! What a mistake, after going through two years on a route to becoming a nurse practitioner, I realized I was missing a vital piece of my hopes "becoming a integral part of change." This led me to the wonderful world of education. I had a passion in my own life to allow young kids to see a world outside of the cards their own worlds had handed them. I was finding success in the classroom and receiving accolades from the professors and university, which caused me to believe I was meant to be in the classroom and do this until I can hit retirement at the age of 55 in state of Texas. Once again...... WRONG! Through my first year as a teacher, I started to see the fallacies and dysfunction spread throughout the Texas Education Agency and the National Board of Education that were causing students to not reach their potential. It seemed as if the teacher's and student's were in a lions den with no way out. Teachers battling with parents and administrators because of the tightening regulations and requirements slapped onto them with no way to fix them. Students frustrated because they were so far behind in their learning, but no one could stop to help because the standards had to be taught and the Standardized Test would come. Parents frustrated that their students aren't progressing but rather digressing in the system. These are only a few examples that fueled a flame in my heart to pursue Educational/Employment and Labor law to the fullest. What a journey it has been and what a journey it will continue to be.
Definitely more to the story but that is simply a brief synopsis!
First off I am so excited to be joining such a wonderful community! The positivity, I have already seen is so uplifting.
For the past few weeks, I have been in the valley of the LSAT. We all have peaks and from those we can definitely find glimmers of hope on the horizon, but I believe no more than when in the Valley! My LSAT journey so far has been abysmal and utterly disgusting. After graduating with a a degree in education and teaching the young minds of elementary aged children, I left the wonderful profession in May to dive head first into the massive ROADBLOCK called the LSAT. After taking a Kaplan Course and PTING consistently in the 158-161 range I thought man I am going to rock the LSAT and Hey Sweetheart, were moving to X place to go to X law school, pack up your bags and let's begin this new journey! Little did I know December would come and I would put out my worst score ever...lower that my Diagnostic a HORRIFIC AND TERRIFYING..........141. I was absolutely shocked and astonished, I remember spending hours contemplating the idiotic decision to leave a career that I was finding success and accolades come my way. But here I am...not at a pizza buffet like I have been for the past few months! I fell off the peak into the valley only to learn how I desire to see this piece and part of my life to be marked with a stamp of personal triumph and perseverance.
With the sob story behind, really...so sorry! I had to let it out finally! To those of you feeling discouraged please know that you are not alone, we see many a triumphs here and all around us. We all have the capability to find success in our endeavors, regardless of what this BEAST of a test spits out at us. To those of you beginning the journey or continuing the LSAT journey we truly have this! To those leaving this journey for your acceptance letters and plans of where and what next, I salute your dedication and hard work to slay the BEAST you are our inspiration!
