Are the Rule + Exception and Embedded Conditional frameworks aimed at helping us better understanding questions in the LR section or is this more so tailored for the new August version of the exam?? I've never seen these methods before so wanted some insight.

I had the same question! I think it all translates to the same, but utilizing "/" may save us some confusion when we run into words like unaware and unfamiliar.

I was originally between A or C, but ended up choosing A. I think for me, what sold it was the language/wording in answer choice C. Answer choice C states that driver re-education is "not a harsh enough punishment" for anyone convicted of a serious driving-related offense...

My thinking immediately went to, "Well, what is?" We know we can expect two punishments: jail or re-education. Since jail was not explicitly listed in answer choice C, I knew A was correct. The premises inform us that re-education is not a suitable punishment for those with a large number of demerit points, since they are not likely to become more responsible drivers, so the only other outcome is jail.
