Hi,
Is there any plans to add caption / closed captions to the videos?
I think it would help with the study @ work as well as those with hearing disabilities.
Just a thought ...............

I ordered this from the other thread I found -- I felt it would clip stronger with my 7+
Also changed the setting on my iPhone to 720p (also now I know where to set 4K!)
I have 50GB on my phone, should be enough per PT.
@ How do you do it?
Hi all,
I purchased the casio watch recommended here that has the top dial to turn and from my understand is OK for the new LSAT rule.
Do you think Proctors will know that it is acceptable? What are some thoughts on what you will do if they make a fuss?

which webinar is that? can you link please. thank you!
Here you go:
https://classic.7sage.com/webinar/post-core-curriculum-study-strategies/
P.S. I watched this the night before, it literally saved my test https://classic.7sage.com/webinar/skip-it/
I just kept hearing her voice.
P.S. anyone reading, I decided the best way would be to just restart. Don't stop, whatever you do. I was going through LG 1-35 and I only got to 10 before the exam. I just did 11 untimed (45min for g1 and g2, realized I was losing focus. Took a break, 25 min G3 + G4) and now watching the video.
Not the same pace, and probably not going to do more than one set tonight. But DON'T STOP! Even if you got the best score you were looking for, once you lose that momentum it is near impossible to get it back. Hopefully I can keep a better work / life / play balance this time around.
I resharpened all my pencils, did some breathing work and knew the next two sections were going to be either LG or RC and I was ready. Just go through your strategies,
"Read carefully, 7.5min per passage tops, slow down. low res summary, you got this you got this you got this"
Too bad I didn't remind myself to write small :(
'Ello all,
What are your best tips to get back into studying after the exam? Do you continue with some PTs and BR as usual?
I've watched the webinar about studying after CC. I've found that I should do some days of LG Drills & Foolproofing and then at least 1 PT with BR.
I am finding it very hard to jump back into it as the sweet taste of freedom is on my lips
I'd like to be in the group!
Typically my PT days are Sat mornings though
Hi all!
Getting ready to start PT after finishing up most of the CC (75% done)
Has anyone ripped out section 1 from PT 36 and used it as the section 5 in say.. PT 42? Section 2 from 36 in PT 43, so on...
Printing seems quite expensive around here (seriously staples, $4 per exam?) so I printed 2x 36, 37, 38 and ordered 2 copies of the 10 tests booklet 42-51... Has anyone done anything similar?
Now -- I am concerned with a - I'll "know" and b - skipping PT 36-41 a bad idea and c - how bad are the booklets? Are they similar to the real exam or is it really uncomfortable to take the PT in the booklet?
TIA!
1000 characters not words are the limit for the textarea.
1000 words is plenty lol
But makes sense.
Hi all,
Writing my app the school asks a series of C&F Questions. Particularly asking to explain the situation fully.
Now, this doesn't fit. If I fit it in fully, I don't really get a chance to explain as I would like, plus I'm adding an addendum for this anyway.
Do you suggest writing whatever you can in and then attaching the addendum?

LR section, 1 LG (movie theater, student assignments), LR, BREAK, LR, 1 RC (forests, judges)
Man, I've been studying for so long, and I know I should have breezed through logic games. Hate to have to retake on a LG that was relatively easy. I'm definitely retaking, but I know exactly what I need to work on: timing, and fool proofing and working on logic games as whole sections. I'm getting owned by not finish the sections.
Honestly I'm retaking due to LG as well but don't feel bad because there's always something easier/difficult. Lately RC has been killer
RC was killed for sure !!
Curve should be normal I think due to "easy" LG (quotes cuz I bombed them)
What about the LR with cars?
I've been trying so hard with games and just completely diagrammed wrong and missed all inferences. I then decided to try another game and just should have at least restarted and just gotten some right instead of guessing so much
1st LR was brutal, had 3 LRs (first time I took lsat I had 2 RCs), always better to have more LRs

The more the merrier. Red Bull gives you wings!
Just don't drink more than you're used to.
Did you get your refund yet? I got a free 4 pack of redbull from the settlement

What is your pre-exam breakfast/drink plan?
I think they just mean that make sure the photo is printed correctly on the ticket...
Staten Island anyone???? (not by choice)
Second game messed me up with the repeat O/J but Third game for me was "easy" in the sense that I split the boards and it just took forever to get through it. Got them all right but I should have skipped to G 4- ie: G1, G4, G2, G3 would have been ideal
Hopefully I can skip tomorrow correctly.
Any advice on how to know when to skip a game? I just did PT 37 and I KNEW I should have skipped one but I pushed through got -2 on the sections I did and then didn't have time for the final... :(
That might be a good idea. I just took an untimed LG section and did good in 40 mins. Game 3 was confusing by 4 was super easy
It just does, after a while when you learn how to make inferences and you do a new game you use the skills you learned.
Think of it like this: If I put you in a Caddy Escalade and told you to drive a race course the first time would be awful, second probably bad, third maybe OK. By the 5-6th time you would a) know the race course but B) know how to handle a giant SUV.
If I threw you into a GMC and asked you to drive a similar race course you would have a great chance to be great!
Well LSAC uses very similar inferences, 4 letters seperated by 3 other lettters, leaders/followers, in/out rules, in out categories, etc...
Just works - and yes I just finished drilling LGs and I would answer any question with a long answer because please I don't wanna do PT3 LG again please
I ended up only getting thru PT 1-8 LGs. I redid PT 1 LG the other day did -0 in 45 mins. Finished 3 games in 35 so I am getting better I feel but there just isn't enough time. I burned out an had to take 2 days off after not being able to finish a full timed PT with 2 LG sections.
You just need more time, that's what this test really requires.
thanks guys! Super helpful. I'll write to update just in case, and make sure they know that it is totally OK not to do it
Interesting tidbit from the article: https://www.lsac.org/aboutlsac/pressreleases/khan-academy-lsat-prep
I was extremely surprised by the statement: > Which led me to feel my 158, while respectable, doesn't make me a prodigy.
If most people can get a +10 with studying that would get you a 168. It isn't TOTALLY unrealistic for a 158 cold

@ Opinions vary
facts are facts, if I got to choose a coast I got to choose the East
I live out there, so don't go there
But that don't mean you can't rest in the West
---Love you 7sage, reading TLS forums it is so mean spirited. Like, both OP who claims "I will be the greatest thing since sliced bread with my 150" to comments "you will fail and be homeless"---
I agree that where you go is almost as important as why you want to go because if you want to work on a supreme court case you should attend UVA and work at a firm that well... does large federal cases and maybe one day you'll get a shot, but hey in the meantime that 180K isn't going to exactly make you too upset while you wait.
On the other hand, if you are an immigrant that wants to fight for your local community where you are a native speaker, going to Harvard probably isn't going to get you there. Both because of your debt and because you can just make a lot more money doing what you actually were trained to do (complex legal matters).
I think it does boil down what you want and what you can really do.
If you can study for 1+ years, get 165 and attend a t14, you probably SHOULD do it but you should accept that work/life will probably erode very quickly (hey you have been studying for a 165, you already know this....)
If you can't study and you got a low LSAT, ask yourself: Do I want to do less complex (but equally challenging, probably more emotionally driven) legal work? If yes, go for the best ROI. -- Do yourself a favor, find out what that low end work entails - you may be filing visa applications for 3 years, day in and day out and your pay will be half of your friend who was an accounting major. This is where your dream of "I want to help people come to America" transforms into "I'm helping people get to America but please make it stop"
If you do OK on LSAT and are ok with doing most types of that Legal work, then pick where you want to live for the next 15 years of your life and try to go to school there. This could apply to T14, if you go to Georgetown you could have good opps in DC but this is mainly for those under LSAT medium.
If you have trouble on the LSAT sub 155 and you really don't think you can get big law but you really want that you should re-evaluate what you are getting yourself into.
Finally, a special case might be if you go to say #14 and pay 100% of the cost. The reality might be that your peers will have less debt than you and will be able to hold out for a job slightly longer than you after graduation. You on the other hand might have to work at a non-profit making 50-60K and hating your crippling debt and then get trapped into a cycle of "do I go to work or try to keep interviewing?"
7sage got me the score I wanted for my top choice but if things don't work out I need to reeval, do I really want to go through with Law? How much more am I ready to give up? A lot of careers pay similar to lawyers. It might explain the steep drop off with a lot of people going into finance, programming or hundreds of other jobs. You know, it is all about finding your fit, and law & medical were just ingrained to us as kids by Gen X who didn't realize you could be a programmer and make 150K a year with full benefits or you could work at a non-profit and make 40-80K (based on region and NFP) doing work you love, etc...
Hi,
I don't really see any information about LOR rules except how many.
I was hoping to apply last cycle and get my LORs submitted to LSAC but after decided to postpone. Should I ask my LOR writers to re-write it with a more recent date? Or will an older LOR be ok? They probably wrote these sometime between Sept-Dec of 2016.
I am sure they will rewrite it if I ask, I was extra sweet when they did it and gave hand written cards as thank yous.
It helps me to watch the video, then go do another game, watch the video AGAIN and then do the game. If you still miss the inferences, you should watch the video and then either move on or take a break and come back to it again later / tomorrow.
LG is by far my worst section, I can probably get through 2 games.
I'm on a mission to do a TON of games before Sept but I am discouraged. I just don't think theres enough time to fool proof that many games.
I should have spent more of my time on LG..... :( Just venting ya'll this some serious baloney
Totally lost on #18.
My understanding of C is that cultural traditions should remain untainted by outside influences seems to go again the idea that imperialists will "taint" the native culture as an outside influence.
So how would they agree it should be untainted? I chose E and I see it is not great, but these national histories, both native and non-native are just to further their own wants/desires (aspirations) and dominance (native own like in Algeria or imperialists over them) each having their own dominance.
Am I misreading the Q?
Hi all,
I have been diagramming with all practice q but soon will begin PT. On my first LSAT I didn't diagram a single question(yes I bombed) but mostly due to nerves and space.
My current diagram takes a pg per q and I'm trying to get better but does anyone have any advice or techniques?

@ you said you are doing LG 1-35 ? Does that mean you have access to all those prep tests in entirety? I realize that I can see all the explanations for all the games ever, but I can't seem to figure out how to find the game in its original form so that I can work it before watching the explanation video. Maybe I don't have access? I'm only a premium member so I'm not sure...
You need Ultimate+ for all PTs or you have to find them
