I used v1 when I originally started, and I wasn't fully grasping a lot of concepts. I switched to v2 a few months ago even just to relearn the foundations, and I FULLY regret using v1 to start. my advice is switch now!!! It's much more streamlined and I felt like the content was presented in a much more digestible way.
You have to use the old format instead of the new one, unfortunately. I sent 7sage an email about changing this since the old format doesn't have as many analytics

Congratulations, How did "Aujlaw" achieve nearly a 20-point LSAT score increase using 7Sage and Loophole, and what strategies or resources, such as 7Sage Tutoring, were most effective in overcoming challenges with the Reading Comprehension (RC) section?
Hi! I started using RC Hero (sorry 7sage) specifically for RC. I was consistently scoring around -12 in RC before I started, and my last two RC sections (including a 5 star PT RC (pt79)) I've scored -4! I haven't even gotten all the way through their curriculum yet. I HIGHLY recommend it. I was struggling for 4 months with RC (with 7sage's old curriculum) and no matter what I did I wasn't making any progress. I kind of combine some of the skills I learned with 7sage with what I'm learning in RC Hero, and honestly I'm so excited at this point. 7sage has been amazing for LR and i've used the loophole first couple chapters as well. Big advocate for trying something different when something else isn't working. I started with a 136 diagnostic and my highest PT has been a 163.
don't cancel unless its more than 5 points. AOs will assume the worst. 1 point is fine
general rule of thumb i've heard on podcasts is don't cancel something within 5 points of your previous score, as AOs will imagine the worst and assume a 10 point deficit or more.
this is a waste of time considering LG isn't on the test anymore. I mastered LG and did not feel like it translated to LR out side of some conditionals for me. Just study the fundamentals in the core curriculum.
congrats!!! I've increased 28 points myself, pushing for 5 more :D
really wish there was a video here #help #feedback
click the clock at the top before starting the section, you can usually edit it as well while you're drilling. If you want to just drill a specific section without using a whole PT, go to the advanced builder, type in the PT# S# into the search, and the + at the top of the list will select all of them so you can do it as a drill.
i recommend joining live classes to help see how other people are studying and also see where you're going wrong. very helpful for me
Try RC Hero, it was the only thing that helped me after MONTHS of studying! I went from -13 to -6 avg. as much as i love 7sage, some people just learn certain things differently. also if you're not in live classes, i recommend doing them for about a month or so for rc specifically. i found the classes more helpful than the CC for RC
you are probably experiencing burn out. maybe take a week off if you can
Hi @! Just to add on here, about 99% sure the experimental will NOT be LG, as LG is being removed from future test so there is no reason to have experimental sections with it anymore. This is the info I've read and heard. Expect your unscored to be LR or RC
@ they're on amazon!!
I took mine like 30 hours before score release and got mine on time in June. You should be fine
you're likely doing worse of PTs because they're longer and you're fatigued. As for pre-phrase help, The Loophole is a really great resource for this. You may also be applying too many assumptions to the argument in your current pre-phrase process, which may be contributing to picking the trap answer. You're in Live, so I recommend the Oversupplying Assumptions and Closing the Gap classes to help with this!
Good luck!
i did v1 of LR and have to say, I switched over to v2 and started over with the fundamentals, and I found it SOOO much more helpful and easier to digest. i felt like i wasted my time with v1 after starting v2, personally.
I'm assuming that part of this is because of the removal of games. I dipped down once games went away and climbed back up. Best thing to do is pinpoint your weaknesses and drill those.
This is like a massive part of strategy for the test. They should be aware and if they aren't they shouldn't be proctors
usually this is optional, check "doesn't apply to me" and move on.
Honestly, what all of these fail to consider is the subjective elements of your application. Numbers are obviously an indicator, but top tier schools still take people well below their medians based on the rest of their application. I was in a Boston U(#24) webinar the other day and the AO said that while their medians are high, they have accepted applicants with scores and GPAs as low as 145/2.x, respectively. Makes you wonder what those apps looked like.
I was just approved for all of the accommodations I applied for, and I was diagnosed with ADHD the week prior. Personally, studying for this test actually highlighted the deficiency I was experiencing compared to other students, and asked my therapist to go through the diagnosis process with me and through the diagnostic it was quite clear I should've been tested as a child. That said, I don't think it should be an issue. I had no accommodations throughout any of my schooling, except an extension given to me on my grad school thesis on the basis of an anxiety diagnosis. You should be fine, just make sure you have a practitioner fill out the appropriate forms and both you and they should have coinciding reasoning for your need for accoms.
And @, I believe that would be illegal.
No. It doesn't matter and is recommended not to retake if you have an old sample on file you are happy with.
Necessary Assumption is in the syllabus in the LR section and is an explicit question type. A lot of those new tags are basically just concepts exhibited in LR questions, but there aren't explicit sections on them. The idea is that when you're drilling an SA or NA for example and getting some right and some wrong, there are additional tags to help you see what concept is hurting you. Causal Reasoning is part of the foundational process as is Kick It Up, etc.
i assume you mean answer choice. try live classes, honestly, if you're not already. very helpful for breaking this problem down
