So sorry to everyone who also had issues with their connection, it is extremely irritating knowing that much of the reason you're not able to focus is because of proctorU, and/or things beyond your control.

I had LG-RC-LG-LR. First LG was a bit more difficult for me but all of the other sections were okay.

I had pop-ups saying that the "page was not responding" throughout the entire exam (I used chrome). I also got disconnected with 4 minutes of the last section left (it was not because of my internet since I had perfect internet speed. I tested it during the disconnect via the link ProctorU had), and by the time my proctor fixed it, I only had 30 seconds left. They did not let me get any of that time back.

Either way, I hope everyone's complaints get dealt with promptly and their scores are not indicative of all the tech issues.

The same thing happened to me. Don't give up, you have already put in the work and you obviously know everything you need to get a high 160 score. You can do this!

Hey did anyone else have to move their desk so their back was facing the door? I have not had to do this for the other two LSATs i've taken online

This was also a fear of mine. Just start taking a few PTs before the test with your version of the worst possible case scenario -- including the order you take the sections (mine: LR, LG, RC, RC). Just add an RC from a different test for the last section instead of doing the second LR. It makes the worst case scenario less daunting when you've done it multiple times already. You just gotta get used to it. You got this!

First of all, congrats on such an amazing undergrad GPA, thats wild! Also, score drops are common. Sometimes for a couple of weeks -- even three, our mental game is off and our scores drop.

I took the April LSAT and got a 159 even tho I was averaging 168 weeks prior but due to familial tragedy I was not in the right headspace, and therefore, my score significantly dropped. Taking some time off for me was completely necessary and it might be for you too.

A 165 is only too high of a score if you let it be that way. You can totally do it, especially if you got a 160 and higher on a couple of PTs already, those tests may be 'easier' to some people but they are still the LSAT, and the LSAT is hard lol. Some tests in the 70s are easier then some in the 50s and 60s, at least for me. Don't fret, you can do this dude! If taking some time off will allow you to get into a good mindset and get you ready for focused studying, then that is totally okay.

Do you have a study buddy? Having to discuss/explain your thinking with another person is HUGELY beneficial and crystalizes your understanding of LR especially. This got me from what I would call "unpredictable" LR scores of -6 to -11 down to a consistent -3 to -5 under timed conditions. I am still working on it, but I have found this to be the most helpful step I have taken thus far.

I completely agree with this! My study buddies have helped me immensely with improving my LR from -8/-10 average to -4/5 average.

I've also heard that LSATMax has 'office hours' where you can listen to how other people (great test takers) go through problems. Again, just hearing how people think through LR questions can be super helpful, and makes you a more efficient test taker.

I am definitely no LSAT expert, but I do believe there are aspects of this test that are extremely learnable (especially games). If you want to improve your score quickly, drill sections of games and study inferences as much as you can until you are getting -1/-2 in the games section. It is totally possible and it is the fastest way to raise your score, IMO.

Study Buddy/Group (for February or April LSAT)

Hello everyone!

I am still in the beginning stages of studying for the LSAT and am looking for a study buddy (or group) to bounce questions off of, as well as do Blind Review with. I am aiming for the February LSAT, but if I feel like I'm not ready, I will be testing in April instead. As of now, my strongest section is Logical Reasoning, and my weakest section is Reading Comprehension. Most recent PT was 156, (BR - 159). I'm aiming to do the best I possibly can!

If anyone is interested, please pm me.

Good luck to everyone!

Mo
