I just finished! I had two RCs. One of them went really well and one of them I was really struggling so hoping that one was experimental :(
Hey y'all! Just finished and had 2 RCs as well! LG-RC-LR-RC
LG seemed OK, LR seemed standard too. Felt 2nd RC was harder than the first.
1st RC: Winter's case/Native Americans + Don Quixote + Red light shift + GDP
2nd RC: Sentence reduction + Krauss/Universe from Nothing + Some photographer & apertures + Nigerian languages

Two RCs is the situation I am dreading the most. Just seems like it would be the most mentally draining for me.
Not to freak anyone out, but since this is a legit concern this time around, anyone else planning to reg for October as a safety net since we don't have the benefit of seeing our scores (tbr 9/10) bfr the October reg deadline (8/25)?

I'm seeing a lot of people wondering which of their RC sections were real and these were the RC questions I got (I only had one RC section):
Nigerian novel
Cacao virus
EMF litigation
Privatization
Did anyone find the LR (conspiracy theories, Sisyphus, Norway/Sweden, dark bird feathers) really really really hard? Or was it just me because I'm terrible at LR?

I just finished. Was so nervous my hands were shaking during LG lol. Will probably take it again in October but so happy I made it through this one
I also had 2 RC sections, felt both were on the more difficult scale but one definitely harder than the other! LG was fairly easy and straightforward, LR also felt standard nothing out of this world. Good luck all!

I just finished mine today. I had 2 LGs and I hated it. I thought the first LG was significantly more difficult than the second set. I did okay on the second with possibly -1/-2 barring any stupid mistakes. LR and RC seemed okay to me. LR was probably similar difficulty and I felt that my RC was simple. The RC included - power line fear, plant & fungus, African writing by a particular author, and a comparative about privatization.
Anyone with two LGs had similar experiences??? I'm really hoping for the first LG to be the experimental now...
Anyone not have 2 RC? I am trying to figure out which one was the experimental section.
@mikaylacastagna497 Nope. She was resistant to my having pens on the desk at first (tho ironically, never used them lol), but I politely asserted that LSAC allows them, and she let me carry on.
At one point, she asked me to change the angle of my webcam, but besides that, no interruptions for the entire exam.
1-minute breaks still in effect b/w sections. I think I even had an EXTRA minute AFTER the 10-minute break following section 2!
The "check-out" process was slightly prolonged. My proctor went AWOL for 15-ish minutes, but finally reconnected. I was like thinking, come on lady, I have to peeeee!!

LR1 - seemed tougher than usual, maybe bc it took a bit to get in the zone; wealth tax, conspiracy theory cameras, finnish watches
LG - okish; film exec, fencing game had me puzzled, it seemed to have too many open slots?? kind of guesstimated here, and found myself not using my splits for game 3, which killed a lot of time
LR2 easier, lots of assumption questions; medical v psych, music loudness, name on plaque
RC - texts were tough as hell, but manageable; nigerian lang, prosecutorial, aperture, universe from nothing
Overall, seemed tougher than most 80s in my opinion

I just saw someone else post this on another discussion thread, but for any today/Tuesday testtakers, do NOT forget to click on “Ready to Check In” before (BEFORE!!!) your 10 minutes is up.
I'm sure everyone registered got this email from LSAC:

"Section 3 will not begin until the countdown clock expires. Test takers must click the “Ready to Check In” button before the intermission expires. Once this button is clicked, the test taker is taken to a waiting room. At this point, your proctor will resecure your testing environment so that you can go on to Section 3.
It is absolutely critical that you return to your computer and click the “Ready to Check In” button within the allotted 10 minutes.
If you fail to check in for Section 3 of the LSAT prior to the expiration of the 10-minute intermission, your testing session will be terminated and your score will be canceled. This cancellation will be recorded by LSAC as a Candidate Cancel and reported to any school to which you apply for admission that utilizes LSAC’s Credential Assembly Service (CAS) reports."
I checked in at the 1'20'' left mark. And don't worry, I still had to wait until the full 10 minutes were done, and my proctor was slow to return anyways. PLUS I had another extra minute just BEFORE Section 3 was due to begin. So no one's getting jipped if you 'check in' early.

Just finished around an hour ago. I Had RC-LG-LR-RC. I think I had the same test as most of the morning crowd but different ordered RC.
First RC was Nigerian Languages, Prosecutorial Misconduct/Sentence Reduction, Photography Apertures, and Krauss/Quantum Physics.
LG was your typical section. I had Movies, Fencing Matches, Managing a Project, and Political Parties. No surprises, much to my relief since I bombed the June 2021 LG section. So thankful about this.
LR was difficult but not awful. Much like a typical section. I saw myself marking more questions than normal and I finished with less time than usual. I only remember a few questions but they were about monkeys, dairy farms, and hotel advertising.
Second RC was Don Quixote, Winter's Case/Native Americans, GDP, and Light Shift/Galaxy Expansion.
The first RC was a challenge for sure, and the second I thought was a little easier. I did practice doing multiple RC sections back to back which I think helped build stamina for this exact situation. Overall I think the August 2021 test lines up pretty similar to most of the 80's PTs. Fair LG, with more difficult RC and LR sections. I bombed the June 2021 Flex, and I definitely think I did better today. I also had a completely smooth ProctorU experience this time around, unlike last time when I had both proctor and technical difficulties. Another thing I will say is that I am so happy I took the test on the first day this time and got it out of the way for now. In June I took it on Tuesday and looking back I should not have waited until the last day to take it.

Would you say LR seemed similar in difficulty to PTs in the 60/70s, or more like the 80s?
Hi all, congratulations for finishing your LSAT and good luck to those writing. I have a quick question - do the LG and LR sections change for different days of the test or do they stay the same? Just wondering because so far, everyone seems to say they’ve been standard and I’m hoping mine isn’t too difficult. Thanks!

@deweycr18110 yeah, the physics passage really sucked. Well, at least it’s over!
I had 2 LG sections which was the best case scenario for me but the first section of it was my first section (first section ever because this was my first test!) and it was BRUTAL even though that's my best area. Last one was great. Just seriously seriously seriously hoping that its the last section that's graded cause otherwise there's just no way I made my score :(
As a Tuesday test taker, I'm putting it out into the universe that I will get 2 LG sections!!
Just finished mine. I had two RC. LG, RC, LR, RC.
LG: summer camp, musicians, clay tablets, designers. Found it super easy. game 4 was little challenging at first, but after a couple of minutes I think I cracked it. Had over 5 minutes left, which I have never had before, and LG is my strong suite.
Seems like this was the real one, so I think a lot of you can rest easy lol.
RC1: was Nigerian Languages. I found it a little challenging. I would say 7/10 on difficulty. I think this is the real one because I have seen it so much on here.
LR: was straight forward. Nothing to crazy. I remember have monkey tokens questions.
RC2: was easy than the first, I would say 4-5/10. Nothing to tough. Mandatory disclosers was one of the topics.
