Renew LSAT Plus Subscription?

Hi everyone!

So I just received notification that my Lawhub subscription will be expiring on October 31. This is not great timing as I'm writing the November LSAT and would only need it for (hopefully) a few more weeks. Is there any other way to renew access to this system rather than paying for the whole year or do I need to just bite the bullet and renew? The only other way I could think of was just using printable versions of the tests for the next few weeks as practice, but maybe I am overlooking something? Any suggestions? My timing is so bad..

I've worked with a few different prep programs and I can promise you that switching between them, or utilizing different ones to strengthen different skills, can be extremely beneficial! I found Kaplan to be my best resource for logic games, but wasn't seeing any progress in the other two sections. Then, I came here and noticed some improvement, but not the level I was looking for personally. So I switched to Powerscore, where I noticed much more growth in both reading comprehension and logical reasoning. You will have a basis of understanding for the general terms and understanding given in any course, but what works for one person might not work for someone else! What I'm trying to say is YES change courses if you feel you are not getting the benefit that you need, and do not waste time trying to beat a dead horse if you will. I'm actually back to 7Sage now because the way the blind review works is helping me much more than the other practice tests I've worked on. It took me a full year to get through all the 7sage material effectively, but the second time around studying with Powerscore, I moved through all the content in under 3 months and now have until November to work on my timed sections. You might find you fly through the content because familiarity will be your friend. Sometimes just hearing ONE thing said differently can open up a whole new world of understanding. You got this @

It made me feel so much better to know that someone was going through the same thing as me!! I write on Tuesday and I also scored a 148 last week. It ruined the entire night and I was too upset to do anything after scoring around 160 consistently for the last number of weeks before that. This week I am working on small improvements and just being comfortable with where I was at before that score. Don't worry M you got this!!

Hey! I have definitely been experiencing the same issue. I think most of it comes from pressure to get through the questions so quickly. It feels so terrible when you look and see that you could have got the right answer if you had not missed ONE WORD. Basically what I can recommend is reading through the passage twice. I really make use of the highlighter and I've been trying to focus on words that indicate positive/negative (not, neither etc.). Another thing for me was if the answer choices didn't always make perfect sense it usually pointed out that I had missed something. This has helped me, but mostly I think it will just come from practicing active reading skills. I've also tried rephrasing each sentence in a way that makes sense to me personally, which helps to enhance understanding. I think being aware of it is the first step, don't worry you got this!!!
