Was it me or was this test extremely difficult? I didn't really have too much trouble with the circular LG but the section as a whole was pretty intense. Also i found the LR sections were particularly difficult almost more so than they normally are.

Am I alone in this feeling? Does anyone know if there will be a curve for this exam?

Unless

I'm still unclear on why I am to negate sufficient when I come across unless, or should it just introduce the necessary condition?

"K cannot be selected for honor roll, unless H is selected to honor roll."

would I take H selected and move it to the sufficient and negate it?

/H ---->/K or contrapositive K----->H

or would it simply be

K----->H right from the start and have the "unless" introduce the necessary?

Please Help!!!

Thank you for the insight.

I will be in the NY market and as much as I'd love to say yes to NYU and Columbia I believe I would have an easier time getting a date with Rihanna(Still a dream of mine, don't tell my wife).

My schools goals are St. Johns, Cardozo, Brooklyn, NYLS and Fordham.

I have enough of a base with my network to help facilitate decent opportunity outside of law school. I think a midsize firm would be great ad if BigLaw presented itself I would explore that option. I just can't imagine theres any risk worth incurring six figure debt if the outcome isn't 7 figure payout. Hence I would be open to Brooklyn, Cardozo and NYLS if theres money there, assuming a higher LSAT will attract Scholarship money.

Is there an overwhelming low placement out of these schools?

I heard recently it pays to be top 5-10% at a lower school as it does to be top 40% at NYU or Columbia. Having said that would any of the above schools (sans Fordham as I know they are top 35) be doable to get into?

GPA questions

I graduated from undergrad over 10 years ago. However my UGPA is low due to me being young and partying for 4 years straight. I would be attending law school with the sole focus of exploring opportunities within entertainment law as the industry is where I have been working within for the past 8 years.

Will my GPA be given as much weight as it would have right out of college?

Will it prevent me from getting into law school?

I will shoot for a high LSAt as well as have LOR from very prominent people in the music industry.

Hi guys!

Very reassuring to see a thread like this! I am currently 33 and will be 34 by the time i enter law school

I will be applying coming fall for admission in 2019. I am NY based so hopefully going to get into one of the part time programs here.

Any advice for the admissions process?

I have a solid career under my belt and hope to stay within my industry for law but do not know if they still will evaluate my admissions as if I am 22 years old.

Trying to get the highest score possible on the LSAT but its proving difficult with work and a kid to really dig in lately. Will my work experience help make up for certain aspects?

Thank you everyone for your comments!

Because there are so many PTs is it ok to take more than a week to do each section in the study schedule? I feel as if I'm doing myself a disservice if I don't finish in time.

Thank you for this.

Yes I agree I feel as if it is a bit overwhelming tight now the amount of CC per week and admittedly LR is my weakest section.

In your opinion should

I go back once I’m done with the CC and rewatch the LR sections again for review before I dive into the PT?

7sage and LSAT Trainer

Has anyone done the core curriculum with 7sage among side a study schedule through LSAT trainer?

Or is it counterproductive?

Been using the powerscore bibles and it feels to stiff to me and I’m not retaining a lot. However 7sage is working better with LR.

If anyone has done both 7sage and LSAT trainer any advice would be much appreciated.

Yes, american schools.

I was aiming for September LSAT but I have a ten day trip scheduled in the middle of august so I feel losing those 10 days may not be the best thing ramping up for September 8.

Hello,

I am a non traditional student, out of college for over ten years now. I was hoping to just take the july LSAT but its looking like my schedule has definitely impeded my studying. If i took the test in November so i can really take the proper time for PTs would that be putting me at a disadvantage admissions wise? I already have a bit of an uphill battle due to a low UGPA.

Progress milestones

I was wondering if every feels exhaustive a month or so into the studying process?

I feel as if as I learn more it gets more confusing and sometimes i miss the basic things.

Is this normal and will things settle into place as the studying goes on?

Or should I be constantly drilling concepts.
