Interested!

For this question, I had gotten it correct in the timed test, but ended up changing my answer in BR.

I wanted to discuss my reasoning for the BR, so that maybe it would help solidify why I chose B to begin with.

My reasoning was as follows:

I had initially chose B, but changed it during BR because I felt like the passage didn't explicitly tell us that the political stability would decrease. It did mention that believing that the constitution was being interpreted consistently with the intentions of its authors was "so necessary for political stability", but my reasoning during BR was that since it didn't explicitly state that politically stability would INCREASE, so I went with D.

From my understanding (please correct me if wrong) B is correct because ultimately we could ASSUME from the info given that political instability would increase from the info given.

However, I would now be extremely interested in why D would be wrong lol!

Anyways, just wanted to open up a discussion about this question :)

So, I got 2 of them wrong for that section. But I know this PT was kind of difficult because no explanations are really up yet. So as far as my understanding of it goes, I used an In and Out game board. I saw another person who mentioned that they chained up the rules. For myself, I found it easier to just write them out like this:

C&M -> P

P or S -> /R

/T -> M & R

From there, I personally had trouble with 18 and 22. For the rest, I basically put in my "in" side whatever scenario the question gave me, and then see what rules triggered what (contrapositives included). For the must be true questions I tried filling out my chart as much as possible, crossing out whatever didn't appear on my chart and seeing if I could find my answers (which I mostly was able to), that way. Kind of the same thing with the could be trues. I hope this somewhat helps!

I think I understand why D is the correct answer choice. However, I am curious as to what you guys think is the best way to approach this question? Clearly using an in an out game board is the best choice. However, this question was hard for me to answer quickly just because it felt like a question that required a lot of trial and error, which obviously didn't work out (especially time wise).

#help So, I got this question right BUT I got the right answer by making this a "valid argument" in a different way...

I used /GH←s→/WS→PT because I knew that by switching the existential quantifier with the universal quantifier would give me a valid argument. Was I right to do this? Because I have a big inkling that I just got lucky and that this won't work next time I run into a question like this?

After knowing the correct answer I understand how JY got that /GH ←s→PT from the two statements broken down. But I initially thought that we couldn't conclude a relationship between /GH & PT even though they shared /WS because (/GH→/WS) the /GH is pushing INTO the /WS, so I thought we couldn't deduce a "some" relationship :( so I guess I'm not 100% sure on how he knew to use that exact sequence...

I know this post was a hot MESS, I'm sorry in advance LOL, this is TOUGH (and also I'm trying to figure this out while typing).
