Take PT75 or PT76 Dec LSAT

Hello,

I am taking the December LSAT. This week I plan on taking PT72 and PT 74 I am debating if I should take PT75 OR PT76 as my last PT for the week. PT76 is a great indicator of how I might score on the December test, but I have been unable to find explanations for the test thus far. Should I take PT75 since I can just buy the 7sage explanations?

Thank you,

Thank you everyone for the advice.

I decided to go through PTs 45-60 and turn them into problem sets for the problem types that I have problem with. I am saving PTS 61-75 for timed practice. That's 14 PTs enough for 2 PTs a week if needed. It's not an option to postpone the test, but I am going to focus on the fundamentals and work through some of the course. I decided to turn 45-60 into problem sets because many people talk about the shift in difficulty in the 50s of the LR. Plus, I don't think I need more then 14 PTs for timed practice.

If anyone is interested in figuring out how to take screenshots of images and put multiple screenshots into a one page doccument. I highly reccomend using clarify. With that application I am able to make problem sets and it allows me to have 4 LR problems per one piece of paper.

I have not finished the curriculum. I only have about 45ish days left till test date, so I have been just trying to get PT’s done, and hoping that through BR I can learn a lot of information. I do 2PT’s a week and BR for one day after each PT. I spend 2x a week working on the curriculum in weak problem spots. I also take 1 rest day :)

My average for each section

LR: -9

LR: -9

RC: -8

LG: -4

Thanks soo much :o super nervous about December....

PT score drop when timed

Hello,

When I take a PT timed I score around 154-156. I have time at the end of each section, so I am not guessing, but When I BR that same test I score 166-168. What should I do to get my PT timed to be in the 160s. I plan on taking the Dec LSAT. My ideal score is 163-165..Please help!

Quick question..

What does drilling by PT mean? Does that mean I should take an entire PT and do it timed, BR it and review the wrong answers and do that everyday (assuming I have enough PTs to do this) instead of going through every section and drilling by type?

Thanks

Awesome! So if I buy pt76 it will also add 1 month to my ultimate account? Or does that 1 month mean i have 1 month access to pt 76??

I love love love blueprint LG book, that book made it all click for me. The book is funny and interesting and very clear. I learned the basics from that book. What really made my score improve to the next level was 7sage.

I say goes great together...

Awesome webinars! Do you think you will be repeating some of these webinars for those who maybe missed the first one, or is repeating not in the plans?

Question Bank Includes?

Hello,

I have the Ultimate Package, and I am thinking about upgrading to the Ultimate+. For the question bank does it include video explanations for all LR,LG and RC from PT 17 and up?

I'm just curious what explanations the question bank includes since this would be the main reason I might upgrade my course.

Thanks!

On the LSAC site it says that you are allowed to bring a snack that fits in a gallon ziplock bag. Is that not the rule? It's my first time taking the test so I'm not really sure....

Snack for Test Day!

I did a full timed test today and during my 15 min break I had nuts, banana and a granola bar. I found myself starving during the last portion of the test. For breakfast I had a big bowl of oatmeal.

Do you think it would be inappropriate if I brought a Chipotle burrito as my snack for the test? If I don't get guac or sour cream if could be considered good brain food?

If not Chipotle, Any suggestions for something more filling?

Sorry for the weird question.

Thanks!

I felt the same way about the LSAT. It's one hell of a test!! I have been studying for months and just recently peaked into the 160s. I do think you need a few days off, I recently took a few days off and my score improved!

I also find the LSAT annoying and hard. One thing that has made the studying process go a lot smoother/ more fun is pretending that I am JY or John. I reason every single question out loud as if I am making a video, yes it takes a long time to complete questions but it's fun! For questions that I am unable to clearly say WHY the answer choice is wrong I watch the video. After doing this out loud reasoning for about 50-100 questions try a timed section without out loud reasoning.

If you REALLY want to give up on the 160s I think you should focus on improving in one specific section. Get your LG down to -5 or less and your RC down to -5 and then you will have big leeway on how much LR you can afford to get wrong.

Here is a way to think about it.

YES you could get into law school with option 1 likely with little scholarship and you COULD transfer but how much student debt are you taking on? $100k-150k? Do you think you can land a job that can pay off the loans?

OR

Option 2. You take the test again get a high score and get a big scholarship!! Who knows maybe a full ride. No worries about loans and you are not forced into picking big law.

I think both options are solid picks but you have to consider it from a financial aspect. Read some articles about people with big law school loans and factor money into your decision.
