@

It might have been, I can't remember whether it was section 3 or 4. I had LR, RC, LR, LR, LG.

I had 3 LR so thought I'd add in a few questions that I haven't seen mentioned yet. One talked about aliens communicating with Earth. Another talked about a benefit from eating cereal. The other was about diabetes.

165 lets you miss at least 20 usually or in that ballpark. So you have room to miss almost all of the virus game.

And cancellation is really only a great call if you have some glaring issue. Like misbubbling a section, taking a bathroom break, not sleeping the day before, etc. You probably did better than you think. Take your score and worst case, retake in December.

To answer your question about sales, not necessarily. You could have your biggest area be 30% of sales and have that improve by 50% and you would lose money if the other 70% all went down 80%.

This question asks what would most help and C offers a potential explanation because sharp losses in several other sources of income could offset all of the money gained from the area mentioned in the stimulus.

C doesn't help explain since it doesn't establish that the SUVs are actually involved in accidents. These extra passengers could all be safe.

D establishes that SUVs are tied to fatal accidents. So more SUVs will lead to more fatalities. And more fatalities would constitute an alarming trend.

definitely focus on recent exams. They are your best approximation for the next test. There are some slight differences over time. I wouldn't do more than 4 more though.

@ you just need to realize you are costing yourself points by staying with a bad question. Really focus on that.

This is very true, especially for LR. If you skip correctly you should get through the whole section well and have time to look at the trickier questions again. The sections are almost always designed to penalize people who do not skip the 2+ minute questions properly.

And for timing, work on going through the easier questions quickly and don't waste time to verify your answers if you prephrase well. Timing issues usually mean you are either too slow on the easy questions or that you fail to not get bogged down in the difficult ones.

I don't think this is a bad strategy necessarily but you should typically skip questions that you are not able to instantly understand. So regardless of question type you should move on from questions that still confuse you after 2 or 3 reads of the stimulus.

I would also work on going through the easier questions quickly like 10 in 10 minutes or 15 in 15. That will help you be able to correctly answer every question you understand.

for LR it sounds like you have an issue with test stamina so doing back to back PTs could help make 5 sections seem easier. I agree on the above suggestion to work on a pacing strategy like 10 minutes for the first 10 or 15 minutes for the first 15.

For RC it is key to read the passages efficiently. Going too fast will mean you understand nothing and underlining too much will take too long and leave the passage a mess when you have to go back to it.

New PTs or Retake PTs

I had been working from 62-71 for most of my prep this time and had done 29-38 previously. I meant to order 52-61 to use for some drill so I could work on my weaker sections. But I found that I accidentally ordered another volume of 62-71. Would it be better for me to actually use that and retake some sections of PTs I had done, as my original copy is heavily annotated, or to return it and get the volume I meant to have?

barring some factors that necessitate a certain application timeframe, it is usually best to take the LSAT when your PTs are at or slightly above your goal level. IF you really want to go to a T14 with some $$, then I think those extra 3 months would really help.

December is slightly later for the cycle, but if you score several points higher, which you probably would in December, it would be much better.

Improving your POE for the 4 incorrect choices is key. Missing LR questions means you are not quite getting a strong enough understanding of the stimulus to see why the CR is clearly the best answer.
