I am planning to take the April 2021 LSAT FLEX and was wondering if I should take prep tests in the flex format to try and replicate test conditions as close as possible. If anyone has recommendations on if I should just take prep tests in the regular or flex format I would greatly appreciate it.

@ yeah I agree with you, I should just prep for the version I am taking.
@ Oh ok thank you. I was also able to find a FAQ's page on the LSAC website regarding when it is taken and all that.
Hey everyone, I am just trying to understand how the LSAT writing section works. Is it something that is optional or do most schools require it?
Congrats, any tips for someone who is just starting to prep?
So LSAC is showing that my transcripts were processed on August 30th but there is still no GPA indicated on my account. How long does it usually take for them to calculate your GPA after receiving your transcripts? I just want to make sure that it usually does take this long and if not I will try and figure it out with them. Thanks for any replies!
Even with the change I would personally go through the whole course in the same manner. You need to understand logical reasoning very well to then apply that knowledge to logic games, especially. Reading comprehension is still important but it is also one of the harder sections to significantly improve on. By the way, you can still take the LSAT in the online format from August all the way to June 2022.
@ I am and I also feel like I am the only one who chose to take it tomorrow lol
@.rsn ok got it. I just thought I was doing something wrong since I didn’t receive that. Appreciate it!
@ Ok got it. But what would you say is the typical wait time in your experience to get an email with your login credentials so you can check. thanks
Just submitted my applications and have not received any emails with credentials to check my application status. How long does this usually take and can you check decisions on LSAC? Thanks!
So on law school applications you have to fill out your LSAT score but what do you do for cancelled scores? Just fill in the date and leave the score field blank? Thanks!
I just wanted to double check but a cover letter is not required for resumes unless it is specifically asked for, correct?
Ohh that makes sense. Thank you for pointing that out!> @ said:
Analytical Reasoning is Logic Games :)
@ Yes I am but I tend to trust my gut on the first answer I choose usually because most of the time when I change an answer it hurts me more than helps. I would say my range for RC is typically -3-7.
@ I appreciate the reply, it was helpful. You are definitely right about it being subjective in terms of difficulty. Like for me, law passages are always easy and I will rarely get any wrong. But then for art passages I tend to struggle even if the difficulty is a lower rating. My main strategy at the moment is to spend most of my time making sure I fully understand the passage and then move on to the questions. I will also highlight any change in POV or transitions from one thing to the next so I can quickly refer back to the passage if needed.
So I am currently in the process of fine tuning some of my strategies and doing some last minute drilling before the June exam and was wondering if there is a reliable way to determine passage difficulty for RC. I feel like if there is a method to assess the passage difficulty, I could improve my RC score a little bit just by being able to focus on the easier passages first. If anyone has any tips/recommendations I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
What if you did not receive an email yet?
So I was trying to understand what is different about the LSAT-flex and noticed on the LSAC website it said it is made up of 3 sections: Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Reading Comprehension. So there is no logic games section on the flex version or am I missing something?
@ That's actually a really good idea to just drill the leftover LR section. Did not think of that. I also agree that stamina is not a major concern and that it is more valuable to have testing conditions as realistic as possible. Thanks.
