The LSAT writing section is mandatory, but it doesn't factor into your score. It's a sample of your writing skills, which schools may review as part of your application. Most schools don't weigh it heavily, but it's still essential to complete it.
@kashibrandi609 Oh ok thank you. I was also able to find a FAQ's page on the LSAC website regarding when it is taken and all that.
Its a requirement. You can't receive your score without taking the writing assessment.
