Look forward to attending!
Whew... I've been studying with LSAC materials with paper and pencil. on my own. This is the start of a new chapter. I've been studying for about 3 months so far and feel like I have a handle on the 'general theory' as JY puts it... but I'm exciting for a much more involved process of studying.
In the words of Miyamoto Musashi - 'Walk the thousand mile road, step by step.'
Solidarity, friend! In a similar situation.... a high-stress job and switching gears in the evening to review LSAT. I try to spend 2-3hrs every day... there may be a rest day here and there, but that's been my routine.
I'm not the best at learning on my own and just started with lessons from Powerscore per recommendation from a friend. Hopefully it pans out, but it's not easy. Especially on tough days you start studying and then just get owned in drills. It's a grind. But, from folks who've shared their advice with me that are - 1) currently in law school AND 2) current lawyers - the LSAT isn't what makes a good lawyer. It's these words I have to tell myself constantly because this isn't easy, at least for me, especially when you hear stuff in these comments threads like 'OMG I GOT A 183 CAN I STILL GO TO HARVARD?'
One foot in front of the other. We're going to get through this. You are killing it and I wish you the best of luck in your journey. Digital hug/high-five/battle cry.
Alright, I admittedly did something really stupid with this question and going to use this opportunity for anyone who made a similar mistake.
I initially chose A. So right off the bat, the modifier/predicate in the second sentence threw me off. During the Blind Review, I read that answer and it 'felt' wrong to me. I couldn't quite put my finger on it at the time and then changed my answer to B due to the reference in the last sentence about the environment. In that case, I was easily lulled by the wording and didn't keep the bigger picture in mind.
This might be the most time I've spent on a question, but I finally understand it! B is flat wrong because there's no reference to dwindling land space. And A talks about cheetahs broadly. Cheetahs live as far away as South Asia. So A would cover cheetahs in all locations, which is way beyond the scope of the question.
I hope this is helpful for anyone else who might be struggling with this question.
Just a shade over that, so essentially right there with you!
