Could we also establish that the reason why AC C is incorrect is bc it tries to establish a comparison which doesn't exist in the argument? General tariff vs. Particular tariff mentioned in C is also something to consider when eliminating.

for A, B, and C, and like many other answer choices in other MoR questions, the conclusion descriptors feel too strong from the support, which is why I have tended to eliminate what would have ended up being the right answer. And most of the time I get to the right answer, although I feel it is incorrect at first, all bc of PoE. For this particular question, I can now see why "undermining, rebutting, and attacking" could be plausible, just off of "But this is not so" (pol. sci. conclusion in argument)
