Just wondering, does the contrapositive of E in #21 say that if they face significantly greater danger, then they herd?

It's quite frustrating when this happens, especially when it's one of the " easier" logic games...

the first problem of the sequencing homework from the curriculum.

I've done it 4 times and I keep getting some inferences, paring down, and ultimately answers wrong.

What do you do when this happens? I'm so short on time with the test in the 27th, it's starting to loom sinisterly over me.

I agree with you there @ I think that was a desperation move. I opted to just doing a timed LG ( Got 52% on it... :l ) -- I'll redo that LG timed again tomorrow and BR it, then video. I'm going to do LG drills and LR drill/ videos , no more than one of each daily up until the last 3 days before the test. I think that may be the best route for me

11/16/2014 "Date change deadline" -

Well....

I took the Sept test and got a 150....I don't think I'll be able to get many more points on the December test...and the Feb one is the last one I can take before applications are due. Advice?

SM + C --> S

State of mind and Confidence = Score

No score = No state of mind or Confidence

But screw that contrapositive. State of mind + Confidence!!!!!

I love you guys. Thank you.

"Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment! "

Thank you. I understand what you mean about the focus. Nothing is new.. I always seem to be able to understand why a question is wrong, and if I don't, after some thinking I do. Will meditate on doing well.

Hmm Trusting myself is very good advice though. Thorough review, and patient review, I think is what I need.

Taking a PT today -- yay or nay?

So I posted a thread previously about whether to include a 5th section on pt 72 today..

and the statement came up that I shouldn't pt today at all and just relax today and tomorrow.

Does anyone have any experience here or can share their take or insight?

Is there any points (good chance of ) that can come off doing a pt and reviewing today and relaxing tomorrow

Or would relaxing today and tomorrow be more optimal?

^ You are a hero.

Hi, i'm taking the pt 72 today to gauge where I am and maybe fine tune anything I may have screwed up. Of course, I'll be taking the day off tomorrow due to the lsat on sat.

Should I include a 5th section in this test? Where would you say I should place it to simulate the fatigue the best?

ty

I typically BR LG to -0 or close to it, but sometimes screw up an entire game or sometimes a couple more questions on timed tests...

I BR above 160 every time now, but my timed scores, although they've been 160-163 before (Highest BR of circled 165) my OCT '15 Score was 157, took it 4 sectioned... I was out of focused, fatigued, misread things (an entire logic game because of it ) and missed 8 LR but towards the end of the last section. I think my key areas to focus are LG and LR, mostly LG but do try to tighten up LR..? I still have PT 74 available, took 76 and 75 already.

Schedule

Wed25, ReviewPT76 Whole. | Thur26, Take PT74 + BR all sections | Fri28 Review PT 74 3 hrs. | Sat 28 Review pt74 (Then have to write/research a few pages of a paper for a class...but have 3-5 or even more hours for LSAT if recommended. | Sun Drill LG 3 and 4 of both PT 75 and 76 as a timed section, Review what I miss. Review 74 more if have brainpower ) | Mon30, Drill LG 1 and 2 of PT 75 and 76 timed, review. Watch 7sage LR videos on PT 76, 75, and 74 ..( as long as I can until fatigue? ) | Tues 1st, Review 7sage videos of LR I got wrong for PT 76, 75, and 74, maybe not watch more than 2 hours of video? )

Wed the 2nd, thurs the 3rd, fri the 4th, take those days off | rest, meditate, eat well, & do not engage in any heathenry | Sat LSAT

I'm hoping a 167 is possible. I'd have to miss almost none on LG and do 4-7 questions better on LR/RC combined. At least a 163 would be nice! What should I do with my schedule? Feel free to tell me to completely change it if strongly advised!

Thank you so much to whoever takes the time to read all of this!

I don't see how in #17, B and D aren't saying the same thing... they're both irrelevant...so aren't they both unlikely to help the museum?

"The museum cannot produce written documentation of its claims to ownership of the property is increasingly unlikely to be a compelling reason for deciding the case in the museum's favor. " B seems correct too..?

@ Except I'm an English major and a biochemical Engineer may have a harder time getting an A than me -- whereas we both have an equal (somewhat) metric if taking the same assessment.

Beautiful. Thank you so much for this! Does the June2015 LSAT get released as a preptest in time to take and study from before the October LSAT rolls around?

Well I'd say it's worth the 5 section as well... the cambridge ones, where it says it uses an experimental one from "Preptest A" ..is that their own made up prep-test? I suppose I could still use their test and then after I grade it....also put the answers here on 7sage to get it organized and blind reviewed easier

Ohhhhhhh what.may I ask where you're getting yours from?

I'm starting the LG part of the curriculum and am going to be buying the logic games bundle.

The bundle includes Logic games for tests 1-35. After I go through the curriculum and practice the questions of the curriculum, where should I begin with the bundle?

I additionally have the following preptests (Would you say practice from these newer tests more than the questions from the bundle? )

The tests I have are:

December 2010, June 2011,

October 11, December 11, October 12, June 13, June 11, December 08, October 08,

December 09, September 09, June 10, June 12, December 12, October 13, December 13,

I have every logic games questions probably because I'm in the testmaster's course, they're just ordered by their method of organization, so I could practice off of the book too. Just not too sure how to organize myself with LG.

I'm taking the September LSAT.

My parents paid for me to take a testmaster's course on my campus, and I was already going through the 7sage curriculum beforehand. Now, I'm going to the classes and unfortunately am JUST getting started on their homework (sept 27 lsat), but I'm realizing in the class that in my oinion ,the way they teach me logic games is terrible. Even the instructor I have didn't do the games the way he teaches it through testmasters. Would it be a bad or a less beneficial idea to continue using testmasters for logical reasoning and reading comp and use 7sage for logic games? Or should I just brute force it all out with testmasters now?

I apologize for talking about another program here, by the way.

If I'd do the LG with 7sage, i'd probably ask my instructor if it's okay for me to be excused from class every time we get to the LG section of class ( that way I don't waste my time or mess up my studying process).

Additionally, if I used 7sage for logic games, would you recommend finishing the logic games curriculum and then getting the logic games bundle and doing as many of those as I can, over and over?

Thanks everyone. I'm feeling screwed right now.

I don't know how people take 3-5 pt's a week. You can blind review and go over everything you got wrong successfully in one or two days, take another PT, repeat, and not burn out? What type of job/school do you do -- maybe I need to find some sort of outlet because my mind simply cannot do that much without burning out -- even body fatigue will set in.

I need a 160. I got a 147. My last test I got a 152 ( about 3 weeks ago though ). Maybe my score is a couple of points lower than it was before i even began studying at all because I took the test so late in the day and my mind was already kind of scatter-brained.

Nevertheless,

I just bombed the test.

I have 6-7 more tests scheduled before the sept 27 test ( maybe 8 tests )

Anyone experienced gains in such a time frame..with such a score? Good lord lol.

I have a problem turning the necessary condition into words sometimes.

For example, the sufficient condition reads well:

Zombies attacking the city makes it sufficient for me to know the market will sink.

Z -> S

But for the necessary:

the market sinking is necessary for me to know that zombies attacked?

The market sinking is necessary for zombies to attack the city?

or maybe

It's necessary for the market to sink if zombies attack the city?

How do I make this into English correctly?

"Every one can do logic games except me"

That's a lie.

For anyone who is struggling with logic games and feels like they'll just never get it -- stick with it. It's going to be painful for a little while, a few days, maybe even a week or two, but if you go through the fire, eventually you'll wake up on morning and realize the games get easier and easier.

Can FU →S →CCE as well or does S have to →FU?

So,

"H will go before J if and only if it is after M." is a biconditional statement...

and is broken down into two different conditions, right --

M- H - J

or

J- H - M

If I wrote just " H will go before J if it is after M"

I would have " M - H - J " with H being before J because it is after M

But if I wrote

"H will go before J only if it is after M"

How does that give me J - H - M?

I'm somehow drawing a complete zero and a blank!

What am I thinking wrong?

I just feel like H is not before J in that translation at all...I'm lost and I don't know how or where to get out.

Thank you

I was wondering what everyone's schedule looks like..is the amount of PT's a week a very subjective thing? So far I only have 3 full timed tests and one untimed test, a section and BR a day, this month, with LG drilling in between. Do you think I should squeeze in another timed PT in this month, or have 1-2 PTS a week for August and September? Not sure what everyone's take on the amount of PTS's to take is. My last few tests were 155, 158, and 161.
